Nina Frisk 2007 DVDRip XviD-DnB

Here’s another new dvdrip which appeared only a few moments ago. Nina Frisk is a swedish comedy about air hostess (Sofia Helin) from a dysfunctional family, who finds a somewhat dysfunctional boyfriend with a 5-year-old son. The movie is just 2nd work of a beginning director Maria Blom, so don’t expect too much. Audio is obviously in Swedish, but there are English subtitles included within the release. I haven’t found a plot or synopsis in English so you have to be fine just with this info.

    Translated from the movie website:

“Nina Frisk is an air hostess. She loves to fly. Nina’s mother Jill loves Irish coffee and Krister. Krister loves to mess with people, particularly with Nina’s brother Linus.

Nina is most at home in the sky, far away from her crazy family. Until she one day meets Marcus and his son William. A desire is born after a family of her own. However, life on the ground is found to be not at all as easy as in the sky.”

    all americans are fat?

if this was true, than all you europissons would be fattening up, as you live for anything american.

yes – we are the originals here in the good old ‘us of a’ – long live george bush and all that bs!

e.g.- if americans started eating dog meat, you’d be eating McDog burgers like it was going out of style

They don’t even call them “air hostess” any more. They’re all “flight attendants” now since that’s gender non-specific. If we called them “air hostesses” maybe they would actually look hot again. Compare the babes in “Catch Me If You Can” with the typical female flight attendant on a US domestic flight today :-(

This and all the modern Beck movies is the reason why most swedish movies suck. Not that hollywood is any better. Sweden can only produce good documentaries now. Like Hästmannen. Sweden was much better in the past with Badjävlar and Äppelkriget and so on.

Sorry for the letter ä but it’s essential.

beck sista vittnet and noll tolerans, were good movies, different than typical cops that
shoot and ask questions after, you have to keep in mind that sweeden is a different country
with no tradition of gang wars ect ect,so you cant make a story that no one will believe

back with nina frisk, not the best humour movie i agree, but then unless you are a local
any humour type movies will sound boring…

what are we suppposed to write in here,ah yes—very fast download, and quality is good also,

Regarding good things Coming out of Sweden… we kind of built up both London and Paris on the Viking time (as well as funding most of the cities on Ireland etc.)

Did you know that we colonized the US almost 500 years before Columbus did?

Well, my conclusion would be that very many of the US-citizens probably have a Viking heritage someway back… ;-)

  29. oblodo
    September 18th, 2007 | 13:43

    oh.. here we go:

@magnus you must be on crack. Swedish vikings went to eastern Europe. They sailed the big rivers of Europe. Danish and Norwegian vikings went to UK,Ireland,Northern Europe and France. No swedes in America 500 years ago, but vikings from Island (originally Danes and Norwegians)
Swedes sacked most of Eastern Europe. But remember the majority of people living in Scandinavia were farmers and traders. Only a few were “vikings” or pirates. Please read history, and not comics.

@ sango Where in hell did you learn that Liv Ullman is Swedish? She is from the neighbor country Norway.

Oh, the film, i forgot about that. I will see it soon, since the last film this director made was pretty good.

ya vikings kicked ass and settled all over england, theres quite alot of history of them down here in the south east as well as further up north, they blatently owed yorkshire (Jorvik) & in deal (thats a town) we got a replica viking long boat because i think thats where they landed when they invaded kent

Studies has shown that the people pointing fingers at others for being gay, most likely are gay themselves. By telling others they are gay (or bög as the swedes call them)they hope to avoid the discomfort of having to admit to being gay.
Apart from that, Blatte, you do not make it clear who you think is gay. Further more, I just think you must be a sad and stupid person with no life.

  35. oblodo
    September 18th, 2007 | 16:36

domino… oh, so angry you are, and how little you know about sarcasm… but again, I guess that is common amongst people your age. I am just tired of fascists using gay as a negative, and so is my wife. We think there would be less war and more happiness if people were nicer to each other.

On a different note… lots of very anti gay members of congress in the USA and famous preachers with anti gay agendas have been caught having gay sex in the last year.. so i guess there must be something to the saying about those being the strongest gay haters, are gay.

    @28
Leifur Eiríksson an Icelander colonized North America at the time, nothing to do with Sweden. And haven’t heard of any Swedish Vikings going to Ireland, you guys went East while the Norwegians went West.

The Danes are the ones who conquered England at the time, again not Swedes.

I’m Icelandic by the way, but it just sounds like you are taking the whole Viking history and classifying it all as being Swedish, which is a lot of crap. Not that Sweden doesn’t have a lot of rich history.

  37. sango
    September 19th, 2007 | 02:31

    @37
well yes and no,(i did not know that nina frisk was a history documentary :) )
generally speaking, that is how they went their way,but the borders were not the same
than now,and entente were made between different leaders who occasionally help
    each others ect ect.
the term viking is always associated with swedish stuff in the rest of the world, although
people realize the error but keep saying the same thing, dito for someone from
finland, people elsewhere will say ah you are swedish,,,nay, fins is different, ect ect

probably this is because people from north and south america see things more
general than specific, like being argentin or american is in itself a new nationality…

the intention here was to confront certain persons who like to bully others
and not to be historically precise, although it went in that direction afterward

Soooo… Let me see if I get this right….

    1) There’s some Swedish movie that no one cared enough about to comment on but it must be great because it’s not from Hollywood.

    2) All Americans are fat, even the skinny ones.

    3) Someone is gay, we’re not really sure who, but it wouldn’t be an RSLog comment thread without the requisite amount of blatant and pathetic homophobia.

    4) Swedes don’t know diddly about history and like to take credit for a lot of things they had nothing to do with.

    5) Danes, Fins, and Icelanders (the latter ostensibly covered in the first category, but I include them separately for completeness) are pissed that Swedes don’t know diddly about history.

    6) If one calls someone ‘gay’ (or the local equivalent) it means they’re gay. Apparently Newtonian physics applies to sexuality as well as planetary motion.

    7) Newton was a really smart dude.

    8) Europeans are apparently unaware that their ancestors no more came from where they currently live than that those of Americans came from America, nor that in English, as in most languages to a lesser extent, context is everything (Hint: “original” does not refer to physical location).

Number seven wasn’t really in this thread, of course, but it should have been…

planetary motion theory, was easier to build in a country with no inquisition

]Soooo… Let me see if I get this right….

    1) There’s some Swedish movie that no one cared enough about to comment on but it must be great because it’s not from Hollywood.

    —Apparently.

    2) All Americans are fat, even the skinny ones.

—Actually, it’s more like 89% Americans disapprove of Congress while only 29% approve of G.W. Bush

    3) Someone is gay, we’re not really sure who, but it wouldn’t be an RSLog comment thread without the requisite amount of blatant and pathetic homophobia.

—Ya see, now that just sounds… how shall we say… gay.

    4) Swedes don’t know diddly about history and like to take credit for a lot of things they had nothing to do with.

—And therefore, they run the Swiss Army?

    5) Danes, Fins, and Icelanders (the latter ostensibly covered in the first category, but I include them separately for completeness) are pissed that Swedes don’t know diddly about history.

—Especially during those long dark winters.

    6) If one calls someone ‘gay’ (or the local equivalent) it means they’re gay. Apparently Newtonian physics applies to sexuality as well as planetary motion.

—Neither Newton nor Leibniz came from Sweden.

    7) Newton was a really smart dude.

    —Not according to Leibniz.
