lyrics are still good but its not the same without tarja

i will still buy album when it comes out.but i dont think it will ever get that nighwish feel again.

I am going to have to agree that this new singer for Nightwish is not all that good.

Her pitch is too high, doesn’t have the rich tones of Tarja (and definitly not the looks).

Part of what appealed about Nightwish was the mix of orchestra/metal/lyrics/singing and now with this new singer they have lost that appeal because it was part of what made them unique, an opera trained singer, professional orchestra music, a singularly profound sense of guitar, drums, mixed with piano.

Is there any other band out there in the world that has that sort of mix???!!!! Not really….

Nightwish is dead from what they used to be due to a singer that is mediocre at best.

Very sad.

and please, Blobster, don’t ever compare Evanescence to Nightwish…they aren’t in the same class….or at least they used to not be in the same class….Oh well, I guess you can compare them now……………………………………………….
