Group SKIDROW returns with a new release of originally Russian videogame Night Watch Racing. This is a simple racing simulator with no protection at all. Don’t expect endless hours of fun as in case of Need For Speed serie, but it may help you to kill some time. There isn’t much info about this title on the internet as it’s definitely not a mainstream game, but the screenshots don’t look that bad. If you’re wondering about a connection with a Russian movie Night Watch, it’s directly connected with it - there was already an RPG game inspired by that movie…
As one of the “Other”, race your way to tipping the balance between the forces of Light and Darkness. Choose your side wisely as every vehicle possesses a unique magic power that may be the way to victory or ruin. Anything goes in your rush to the finish line as more than just personal victory or loss depends on your performance.

Ahhh it’s not that bad, it’s mostly the physics and no deformable cars that suck. Yeah, there’s better stuff out there but I respect their effort!

Do NOT play this game. Honestly, the best words to describe it are not welcomed on most sites, so I just say that it’s AWFULLY BAD. And I’m totally serious, cause I’ve played it.

I wonder it this game has anything to do with the Russian movie of the same name (Night Watch)… Which was about the ages old fight between the forces of Light and Darkness etc.
It was a big hit in Russia, so it could be a tie-in of sorts…

This game is just like the movie: sort of 20 years late ^^
Many of you guys say this game sucks but you never explained why. Maybe you haven’t given it the benefit of the doubt yet, or even tried it for once. A sorry game graphics engine does not necessarily make a game bad, as many old timers will attest that it’s the game play that makes the game last long and gain great respect.
I’m willing to give this game a chance partly because:
1. I am interested at what quality (Silent Storm engine) does one of the biggest Russian game studios make.
2. I like simple games. This looks like a simple enough game for simulation racing. Just strap on your seatbelt, drive and race. Not much fancy car setups, tweaks, etc.
So for those who really has experience with this game, was the game play really bad? If it’s bad, how bad is it? Can you describe in further detail? Thanks.
