NHL 08 Patch 1-FLTDOX
EA decided to release the very first patch for NHL 2008 and guys from Fairlight did the pleasure of cracking it and releasing under their FLTDOX subdivision. Although the size of this update exceeds 30 megabytes, it’s a bit unknown what has been changed despite unlocking few jerseys, which isn’t really a big improvement. The application of this patch is standard, you need to update with included patch and then overwrite the exe file with the crack.
Changelog: Electronic Arts has also issued a patch for NHL 08, allowing you to unlock new jerseys for players if you enter this secret code: h3oyxpwksf8ibcgt.

That’s where you’re wrong, you can play online with cracked NHL. You cannot connect to EASO, but if you have a player to play against, you can play through direct IP connection or hamachi, burn.
This game doesn’t deserve to be paid, since it is the same for three years already. When the next-gen version for PC comes out (EA says, it’s gonna be next year), I’ll gladly buy it…

BY the way Dark: this year nhl08 IS different from the past nhls since you can play with AHL and Elite league teams + the AI is incredible on xbox360 anyway i think it’s worth to by…i don’t know about PC!!
PC version has a real shitty AI, I was very disapointed with NHL 08, its prodably better on xbox 360.

Then its real sad if the ai is pumped up on PC when its so shit and by the way I dont even have a console and will never get one. I have had PC´s for 20 years. I look forward to Fifa 08 and NBA Live 08, those EA sports games have been ok so far.
this is not a real official update, look at the updater, it is some homebrew crap, don’t use this, most likely spyware or virus, its not showing up on any reputable scene sites, just newtorrents and here. yet another malware release from rlslog.

crap…EA sales the same game 3 years in the row…old engine (created 2005), new roster and same shit…NHL 2008, FIFA 2008 and NBA 2008 are NEW EA games and what we get new? In 3 years they didnt even bother to support wide screen resolutions…
lame-avoid this game and never buy anything from EA (see that half-product MoH – you buy new original game and get shortest game ever, shity multi player and bunch of problems before you even install game) and if you wanna ply they shit games download them and not support those thieves!

put it straight on your system, or make a partition and put it there (it’s not like rocket science, just google up “dual boot” if you still wanna keep what ever other OS you are using)
TinyXP_Platinum_Edition_2 is made solely for gaming and comes with all kinds of applications (pre installed and choose able)
there is also another gaming version called “MicroXP” which is supposed to be faster, also made by eXPerience, but I couldn’t get my games to run on it or get an internet connection.
anyway “TinyXP_Platinum_Edition_2″ is so seriously blistering fast and stable, I ‘ve heard from many people (who have older PCs) that were able to play a lot of the new games on it which didn’t run before under their normal windowsXP!

So.. no one knows where to enter the code once the patch is applied?
I tried the official patch from the EA Sports website, I also tried this patch (so I know they are both the same), both gave me the same result. The process gets about 52% complete then I get an error messgae saying “Old File not found. However a file of the same name was found. No updates done since the file contents do not match.” Anyone know what that means and how I can get either of these f$#&ing patches to work?

The patch works fine. You need a fresh install (the nhl2008.exe musn`t be cracked). You install the patch and put the cracked nhl2008.exe which is in the rar file with the patch.
Does anyone actualy read this post. drat and some other guys asked if SOMEONE knows where to write in the code for the jerseys.
