NFL Weekly Roundup: Week One

This has been a pretty decent success for the EPL, so why not try the same for the best in American Football, the NFL? This will be releases covering the first week of the season, and more will be listed as they become available.

The first week featured some great action, as many games went down to the final play, it featured Brett Favre’s debut in a New York Jets uniform, some shocking upsets, possibly the greatest player in football going down to injury, and more.

    Amen brother.

    ——-
    why is there not a Titans game posted?

    it was pretty exciting to watch Courtland Finnegan pick off a 30-something yard pass. but then Vince Young (ultimate hype machine=fail) threw another interception. that made me mad, but he got injured later on, so Collins went in and scored again in a 1.5 minute drive. which is the better QB?

    Comparison of US games and their UK Equivalent.

    American Football = Rugby with padding
    Baseball = Rounders (A girl’s game)
    Basketball = Netball (another girls game).

  28. Cheese
    September 8th, 2008 | 09:51

    Woo!

    Even tho im a cheese head that lives effin 5 minutes away from the stadium i believe the packers are going to get their ass kicked by our rivals the viqueens in monday night football.

    The 3 stooges effe up by trading farve, they should have A: let him have the first string position, B: gave him the 32 million to stay retired for 10 years… Farve wouldn’t even take 25 mil, now thats a love of football.

    The thing that sucks is we dont play him for another 9 years… =/

    yada yada yada, drunken cheese head signing off.

    Check out http://forums.tenyardtorrents.com/ for all of the NFL games you missed. I’ve been going there for a few years now, good sit with all the games. They also have a ton of older games including the entire 85 season of Bears games.
