It’s amazing how many Brits, Swedes, Iraqis, or whatever there are on rlslog that come to a post about the SuperBowl simply to hate on Americans. When it’s obvious that you foreign peter puffers are just jealous or otherwise genuinely interested. I mean, why else would you waste time out of your day to download a game u have NO interest in, watch it, and comment on the ridiculousness of Americans?

lmao@96! That about sums it up. To be honest though, I do get off on the “omgorz da amerikans r dum-football iz g@y!”. It just reminds me of all the parties where the nerds sit on the couch and cries about the all star QB sticking his 12 inch war hammer in every female hole at the party. I get all warm and fuzzy inside every time I see the half assed comments pouting like nerds on a couch.

This game was pretty boring to watch though, except for the last 2 minutes. It reminded of the Giants/Ravens game a few years back. Two of the best defenses in the league made for a low scoring snoozefest, sort of like soccer. If the padding bothers you guys so much we offer a few other nice sports such as boxing, mixed martial arts, caged fights, and a few others that may be right up your soccer loving, tough guy alley.

as a fan more of baseball than american football, i can relate when shoe is on the other foot as far as cheating goes. But ya’ll are way too judge-mental. Bellicheck might be a weenie, but he is still a good coach, and he was winning games before anyone claims he was cheating.

I think Moss and a few other pats played a great game, but Tom really didn’t. The Giants defense was really what took this game, they were amazing. I think we can all agree that Eli got pretty lucky where it counted and tom Brady did NOT play up to usual standards.

well i suppose it all started in the US when we went and combined rugby with football and mixed and matched rules. American Football was born from “Soccer” but the truth is it’s just weird, we are quite defiant. though we are not the only english speaking country that uses footbal and soccer!

We on the other hand live in a dangerous place where people are killed standing on a street corner or in a classroom. Our sports reflect our culture.We have 300 pound steroids freaks who run faster than the devil and could kick a hole in Ronaldino’s chest.(literally!)
As apposed to you who have frail metro-sexual looking david beckham’s who have yet to come-out of the closet chasing and kicking a ball back and forth to each other. So if your national sports hero is homosexual go head an glorify him. We prefer our athletes to be a little more warrior like.
So comparing American football to non-American or to rugby is like comparing apples to oranges.
