With :01 left on the clock, and his team just having failed on a last chance 4th down effort, Bill Belichick ran onto the field for a quick handshake, and then bolted for the locker room. Belichick’s an important guy and everything, but I wasn’t aware that the league had given him the authority to decide when games end.
There’s time left on the clock, his team’s been humbled, outplayed, and lost their chance at history … and Bill Belichick doesn’t have the stomach to sit there and absorb the pain until the clock read 0:00.

people are talking about bill walking off the field early but he had fair call to do so. the clock ran down to zero. it was several seconds before they set it back at :01. thus the reason so many people ran out on the field. personally i’m happy the giants won but you can’t talk bad about the man for responding to a defeat that crushed a history making season with a bit of unhappiness. the clock said :00 so he figured the game was over….just like the hundreds of other people who rushed the field.

Umm…are you kidding? Its New England. They’d be talking about the perfect season for the next 10 years.
Belichick is a putz, that conduct at the end of the game was inexcusable. He walked on the field though because they zero-ed out the game clock, and then added on a second right after that. But he did head to the locker room after he knew that, which was still classless.
Heres how it breaks down. For 18 weeks before this, losing coaches came across the field, wished him well and congratulated him on a good game, and were not curt about it. Belichick had to do this for one game, and he acted like a goddamn 3 year old. I hope the NFL fines his ass again.
Granted, I guess I’d be upset too if my perfect season became nothing, the senate was about to open an investigate into SpyGate, and my name in general was about to have a giant asterisk next to it in the history books. He had his cameras back in 2002, and likely every game between then and this season. Take them away and the wild card Giants beat up on you (and despite the score, they did beat up on the Pats. Brady got batted around like fresh meat in a prison). I’m so glad this country will be covered in the deafening silence that is all New Englanders in pure shock for the next week.

I think Moss and a few other pats played a great game, but Tom really didn’t. The Giants defense was really what took this game, they were amazing. I think we can all agree that Eli got pretty lucky where it counted and tom Brady did NOT play up to usual standards.

This game was pretty boring to watch though, except for the last 2 minutes. It reminded of the Giants/Ravens game a few years back. Two of the best defenses in the league made for a low scoring snoozefest, sort of like soccer.
If the padding bothers you guys so much we offer a few other nice sports such as boxing, mixed martial arts, caged fights, and a few others that may be right up your soccer loving, tough guy alley. 
can someone please post the pregame interview with tom brady and terry bradshaw. i’m in a band called my dad vs yours from canada and they might have used a sample of our song during the pretaped interview.

There ARE other versions besides FOX (in reply to one of the first comments) – The rest of the world saw a broadcast from ESPN. (new zealand for instance)
So rapidshare links of a non HD version would be nice.
It’s amazing how many Brits, Swedes, Iraqis, or whatever there are on rlslog that come to a post about the SuperBowl simply to hate on Americans. When it’s obvious that you foreign peter puffers are just jealous or otherwise genuinely interested. I mean, why else would you waste time out of your day to download a game u have NO interest in, watch it, and comment on the ridiculousness of Americans?
