Las Vegas showroom magician Cris Johnson has a secret which torments him: he can see a few minutes into the future. YAY!
    great movie!
but isn’t it HUGE? i mean even for a HDRip, it’s huge.

when will the fuckin transformers be released in hd……..?

  3. EddieLa
    September 13th, 2007 | 15:36

This is the typical size for 720p (meaning a frame size of 1280x width in this case) releases… Better resolution requires more bits. Did you think this was ripped from HDDVD to a DVD size resolution, like 640x width?

  4. question
    September 13th, 2007 | 15:36

may be a dumb question but if i watched this on my laptop is it HD quality? or do I need extra hardware etc to view it in High Def?

    September 13th, 2007 | 15:36

@user the HDRips are of this size………

  6. tugamen
    September 13th, 2007 | 15:36

It is not huge, most of bdrips or hddvd rips take at leats 4.3Gbs with lots of them with 8gbs. Bear in mind that the hddvd is more than 20gbs.

  7. September 13th, 2007 | 15:39

septic is a very good hdrip group… sometimes i check HD movies but this i have seen

    + its not 1 cd, 1 dvd :D

One movie that definitely should be posted over here in HD is Transformers! The special effects really beg for an HD release…

well, i have several BluRayRips and HDRips of animes here, they are around 2-3GB. same resolution, same format. maybe it’s an anime thing. less changes from frame to frame, so it’s more compressable.

are there scene rules for HDRips already?

    @4 qustion:
you need a modern CPU to handle the decompression.
any core2duo will do. also at least 1GB of RAM…

It would be good to a dedicated HD section on NTi. They’re becoming more popular these days, and so a lot of people might find it handy.

Yay more HD. I already saw the movie but I’m glad to see HD stuff posted. Also you can play it with a P4, I can even play 1080p if I use CoreAVC and Media Player Classic.

    September 13th, 2007 | 17:13

How is it that hd rips take up just as much space as dvdr rips?

  26. Kynch
    September 13th, 2007 | 17:14

    @ 21

Yeah I know, I was just SO dissapointed in the acting and the ending…it had such a good potential and it was wasted. And have you seen Ghost Rider? Yet another band Cage movie.

But you have to take my opinion as it is because it won’t change. I’m just warning people that they shouldn’t waste 4.4Gb of bandwith for a movie they should grab as an aXXo DVDRip. And if they like it, they can download this version for the best quality possible.

  27. madstan
    September 13th, 2007 | 17:33

    Kynch

Good principle, bad example. the axxo dvdrip was a re-encode of pukkas r5 complete with the first 40 min out of sych.Don’t think axxo knew how to apply the pukka sych-fix.

    September 13th, 2007 | 17:40

Septic do really crappy quality rips. Wait for a better one off torrents to spread.

  29. user
    September 13th, 2007 | 17:40

    >>How is it that hd rips take up just as much space as dvdr rips?

fact is, it doesn’t. dvdrips are around 700-1400MB… duh.
what you mean are dvd images.
and the answer is: so it fits on one dvd! …double-duh.

    September 13th, 2007 | 18:29

aside for the fact this movie is pretty bad, it’s beyond me how people can still advocate for axxo and his crappy stolen and poorly re-econded shit… To compare SEPTIC to axxo u must be a real dumbass, IMO.

Anyways, thanx for posting bout it and please mention more HD releases in the future, cause that’s where it’s at!

    Cheers!

HD Releases are always a nice addition to regular DVD-rips.

    For HW-requirements:
almost any halfway decent cpu will do it (p4, a64) as long as its got at least 1GB of ram and a seperate video card (that can take some of the load off the cpu).

Other than that: this movie is at least decent. In my opinion it’s worth watching. Way better than the B-movie releases … :)

  34. indiantechy
    September 13th, 2007 | 19:05

well any cpu more than 2 ghz in single core and any dual core will be able to play HD stuff provided the on board chipset is powerfull enough and u have enough ram and codecs installed and yes the most needed stuff a lil common sense

keep HDRIPS posting On rls Team

If someone really insists on top quality video, and has the bandwidth, I can see them downloading a file this size. What I can’t see is someone doing that for this movie.

It is a decent movie but it isn’t worth a download of this size.

I really love HD movies but my Sony dvd/divx does not recognize wmv files. I have a big lcd tv, a good sound system and no problems downloading big files with my 6 mbit connection. The only problem is that I don’t like watching movies on my pc.

    Question : Can i play Blu-Ray or HD-DVD rips on my PS3 ??

I don’t think i can but i don’t want to have to download 4 + gig to find out.

Thanks in advance for any clarification :)

good to see hd rips coming onto rlslog. 4.6 gigs, compressed using x264 codec. its not too big, its not too small. its perfect fit for dvd5. hd-dvd uncompressed is like 30 gigs, bluray discs almost up to 40 gigs.

Good idea spoiled by bad direction and a lousy script. Stupid and unbelievable motivation for characters. But I like the line: “There’s only one way out of this for you – and that wasn’t it” (or words to that effect.

    September 13th, 2007 | 23:16

Most likely an extreamily stupid question from an HD n00b, but what media players can play this on a computer? Unless of course it is a simple AVI/WMV file. Thanks.

  44. General
    September 13th, 2007 | 23:19

x264 ain’t divx or wmv….itx x264. That’s how they are able to make it fit on one dvd…better compression. Not so great acting, but good special effects. That plus jessica biels nude scene makes this a worth while dwnload. Is this the unrated version??

    and

    http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/Xbox360/

The top one makes wmv’s which are higher quality, but it doesn’t work for everyone(including myself). Videora is much simpler and faster. Your choice.
