It’s actually a smart clever sophisticated show.
something americans don’t or can’t do.
So americans, stay clear, you need you brain to engage with this one.
So you aren’t smart enough to watch it.
THey are all old uk actors, playing retired officers, hence the age. There is logic and reason behind it.
i.e actual writing folk!
And no happy endings, so you’ll probably top yourself if you engage your brain and use it you an american.

This is a very good series & well worth watching. much more down to earth & more like the real world than all those US series & it has a bit of gentle humour in it as well…
