New RLSLOG IRC channel
Due to the recent development, we decided to change our official IRC channel as the original one was taken by revolting editors. The new channel is located at AustIRC.net and one of the main advantages is planned PRE bot and also possibility to register your own VHOST to hide your real IP address. Come and join the REAL RLSLOG editors!

No channel limits and has on average 6000-12000 users on at any time.

Good job Martin for being able to make this so successful and hopefully the editors who quit wont make to big a dent in this site. @42 (Ron): Couldn’t agree more. I don’t know how us n00bs, adults, … are going to survive without all that pre-teen, hormonal angst. Seriously though, I would like to recognize all the good work they did while they were here. I enjoyed their efforts on a daily basis, as I will enjoy the efforts of the new editors (welcome, great work so far, and thanks for your effort). Finally, I’m going to show my age by saying this to the people who left: nobody is required to agree with Martin, support Martin, or do what Martin says. Nothing at all is stopping you from setting up your own site, your way, with your rules. If it turns out to be of good quality, you’ll get traffic and ad-revenue of your own — and perhaps also a higher appreciation for what Martin has done here.
So, what happened here? I thought RLSLOG was no more!?
@47 : it all got political. Here’s a breakdown for those who missed it…. (the short, short version)…
1. A Mod had admin and abused it
2. Martin took away admin
3. Mod got annoyed and convinced lots of other mods to leave under the pretense that it was because of Martins money motivation
4. Martin said WTF, closely followed by FU
5. Bitter & whining ex-mods channel-sit on IRC
6. Evasive action ensues and a new channel is created
7. Ex-mods post in comments on rlslog, clearly regretting their decision to leave and feeling like they now have small penises.
8. Martin wins. Rlslog LIVES AGAIN!
Seriously though, who gives a sh1t whether Martin makes a buck. His site. His rules. Screw everyone else. If voulenteers put themselves forward to post on sites like this, who are they to later complain because they aren’t getting a bite of the cherry. Stop moaning and move on.
