I actually never check the quality. Since I never download CAM/TELESYNC releases, it is hard to get dissapointed. If I have some doubts from reading the comments, I’ll check the sample images, but I actually seldomly watch the sample vid.
That said, lets talk Bèta. I only use Bèta software when it comes out. Though never you will see me trying new Operating Systems like when Vista was about to come out and all the pre finals appeared. I never knew there were Bèta releases for games. But as I never really play games I wouldn’t know. I just thought you’d go to the (e-)store and (e-)buy yourself a game, which upon that date was the first version to come out. Oh well, another piece of information to go in my shelfs.

Well if its a final release then people will hold you responsible if anything goes wrong so if something is free or open source they prefer to stay in beta stages so you could say Gmail is pretty much complete.
I do this as my job so i’ll say I even test alpha and pre-alpha game…

This site is getting stronger by the day. Its like the company schlumberger. People come and leave but the company goes on and stronger.
Even people who thought they could leave this site behind still lurk around and comment. They cant leave it. Its like drugs to them.
They try to go cold turkey, use methadone (i.e. s c n s r c [dot] n e t )or buprenorphine (other sites etc. etc.) and they still crave for this site. They just cant help it. They know the only way is by killing this site and make it go away, but it just wont happen.

Closed Beta of World of Warcraft, then beta tested Burning Crusade, quit playing before BC launched so didn’t try to get into the new warcraft beta.
I got into the Warhammer Online beta on the advice of a friend, but didn’t like the game so really the account is just rotting. The game isn’t bad, it’s just not for me.
id like to see a poll about people being tired of all the moronic racism that goes on. its 2008, get over it. maybe they do nothing about it because there all foreigners, but the next leader of the free world is going to be a black man. love this site, but when they take the time out to remove spam or post for no apparent reason, than why cant they remove all the blantantly racist remarks, if i gotta go else where i will but id rather not.

I’ve beta tested many games/programs, Asheron’s Call, Second Life, a few AV progs, Idlepimps(every version) WOW, lots of other online games (I’m a programmer) RA2, Battlefield, Colin Mcrae Rally.
I would LOVE to beta test RA3, but EA doesn’t like me, I pissed them off once by messing up their messed up code, and I wouldn’t explain how I did it, lol.
Usually, only between 5% – 10% of users respond to polls and votes. So, 26,000 unique votes equates to approx 250,000 uniques (tallying with another source of this iste’s userbase)
Now with a quarter of a million unique visitors, a site’s advertising revnue is going to be huge – between $2,000 – $3,000 per day has been quoted.
With the recent drop in quality, martin must be really feeling it in the pocket (or if not yet, certainly by the end of the month)
Time to buck up your act guys!

the only map thats good on it is victory village and well they wont let us post any screenshots or anything about it.
