updated to 1.06.973 with ingame updater,
overwrited the two exe files,
but when I double click the files, nothing happens.
what am i doing wrong?

While Hindu is right, the final refers to the release version,
and not the final patch for the game, he needs a lesson in

You dumb smelly twatter, this is NOT the final ever to be released update and its not that old. Your sloppy ass is thinking of NWN1 and the final ever patch coming out for that. There was a BETA of this update and this is the final release of that build, but far from final ever patch. Eat my ass quiffer.

It’s not laggy if you don’t go crazy with the shadows (unless you are using an 8800). Without the real-time shadows the game doesn’t look as great, but it runs very well. I need to get me an 8800 instead of this 7800…shadows kill in any game that wants to use high resolution shadow-maps (like this game).

Its really sad that this game still needs at least 10 more patches, I redownloaded nwn2 a couple weeks ago slapped on the latest patch and it was still laggy.
