Never Back Down is movie that I have wanted to see since I saw the trailer for it, but I decided to wait for the scene to release the R5 or DVDR. The movie does look pretty good but the ratings for it aren’t so hot, but its still worth a watch in my opinion. The quality is typical for a cam so I wouldn’t recommend getting this, especially considering that the runtime is 110 minutes, so download at your own risk ;)

Making an attempt to fit in, at the invitation of a flirtatious classmate, Baja (Amber Heard), Jake goes to a party where he is unwittingly pulled into a fight with a bully named Ryan McDonald (Cam Gigandet). While he is defeated and humiliated in the fight, a classmate introduces himself to Jake and tells him about the sport known as Mixed Marshall Arts (MMA). He sees a star in Jake and asks that he meet with his mentor, Jean Roqua, played by Djimon Hounsou (’Blood Diamond,’ ‘In America’).

    This movie looks really bad- perfect for the Xbox/Mountain Dew generation tho they’ll prob be disapointed that theres no explosion at the end of the film. @spacebucket wtf a lil off topic? that like asking your English Professor to do your Calc hmwrk- theres my rant- peace

    This movie looks absolutely horrible, anyone who trains in MMA will tell you that this is just made for drunk teenage kids who think they can fight.

    Much easier to watch the real thing, over Hollywood fluff.

    Terrible flicker.

    I really don’t understand why people even bother with cams anymore. xvid pixelates bad enough on todays HD monitors and computers, even on dvd rips, add in cam flicker and it turns into an unwatchable waste of bandwidth.
    Sorry, just my opinion.

    While watching trailers for the movie, I noticed they used a theme really close to the fight club ones. You’ll notice it. Same font and same brownish background.
    Looks just like a rip-off of Fight Club for the Fast and Furious crowd.

    Don’t bother just watch REAL MMA like UFC or PRIDE and if you want to see hardcore MMA go grab some of the very first UFC’s before all the rules:) There’s one where it looks like Tank Abbott killed the guy, he hit the guy so hard and kept hitting him he was twitching on the mat. Insane.

    Wow, they couldn’t get any actual MMA fighters. So we have two main guys who have no actual experience with this in real life, combined with choreography showing techniques which no self respecting fighter would combine. Spin kick stepping into a spinning punch, and that slow motion telegraphed bull actually works in this script? I cringed when I saw a round kick starting from behind the body, telegraphing to a level which no first month fighter would do. This movie will just piss off anyone with any actual combat or fighting experience.

    Uncropped notes: Firstly i cropped the top and bottom and a tad off both sides has the camera moves slightly so i tried to get a nice
    smooth finish…..Then ran the video through a few filters lowering the rgb contrast to tone down the white spots,also boost
    the gamma and lum to brighten it up a tad.
    Have also cropped the subs off,for those that wanted it cropped.
    Audio i have ran through AA3.0 and tried to tweak it abit…..first time using this programme so thought i’d have a mess.

    i downloaded this cam . really thought the movie was good but i have only watched about half its best to wait for a better quality but i think the movie itself is really good it mostly appeals to the 16-21 year male so if your not in that range you prob wont find this enjoyable
