the keygen is stolen from a well respected cracker, Betamaster :/ And noone paid attention to the person above who said that it’s infected with a trojan? The keygen has been modified by that group and when you run it it tries to contact a remote pc also under the cover of the name realtek azalia audio…
The Betamaster fix is available all over the web. Get that and the trial from Ahead website if you really need to install a bonafied mother-of-all b-l-o-a-t-ware in your box and make it run slower. I am happy with NTi and Imgburn.

Well, I’m also using Nero 6 and really don’t feel the need to upgrade to a newer disk space hog versions. Why do you really need to install new version if you only need to burn cds/dvd ? Better (and slower) GUI perhaps !!!
I’m glad genuine people have cared enough to step forward and let us know this release is fake and carries virii-
kind of disappointed in rlslog for this one….

I just went onto the nero website and will try to get a keygen when the trial is finished
BTW: the lite version on their website is 32Mb for the onces who don’t really want to download the whole app for only burning CDs

The keygen is not only a virus it self installs. I unzipped the file to a flash drive, which ended up with the virus,and the next computer I connected the flash drive to, got the the virus(it self installs the keygen). I ran a virus scan and deleted the virus only to have it back on the drive and the computer on start up. The virus also installed itself on a different flash drive when I connected it to the computer. I’ve tried Norton,AVG,Webroot, and a few other programs and can’t get ride of the damn thing. So if anyone has something that can actually remove this virus the help would be appreciated.
