It’s quite amazing ….. great album, mostly reminiscent of various big hits, but nevertheless new material.

Anyone that’s sold 120 million records deserves to be heard, (sorry about the understatement). Recommended!

In 1974, while on tour, the Diamond’s private plane crashed over Greenland. In order to make it to New York for his next show, the Diamond continued on foot wearing a sequined shirt and polyester bell bottom pants across the arctic wasteland alone.

He paddled to the North American mainland in a kayak he stole from an eskimo, and made it to New York only minutes before the show. He went on to play 6 encores that night.

When a rescue party made it to the crash site, they found the other passengers had been butchered like cattle. When questioned, the Diamond replied “A man’s gotta eat.”
He then broke into a rendition of his song ‘Porcupine Pie’.

Investigators were mystified.

There you go. Perfect example of how YOUR music is completely trendy and forgettable. Eminem has ZERO timeless classics, Neil has quite a few. I am not a huge fan of Neil, but he is well known and respected for MAKING HIS OWN MUSIC!

Ohh Venomhed, i think you just made a fool of yourself with that statement…most of those artists have been around quite a while (some over 10 years at least..) and there’s LOTS of rap and techno now over 20 years old that’s considered classic (kraftwerk or grandmaster flash anyone?)

..If your only prerequisite is that it sells millions then McDonalds is ‘classic’ cuisine by that assertion.

There’s nothing about Neil Diamond that makes his music stand any test of time more than any other.

Venomhed, Madonna is trying to appeal to a new generation, and I think she is very successful at that because my daughter is 14 and love her. It seemes that we have so many kind of prejudices inside. Have you seen the last Rolling Stones´s movie?? Christina Aguilera sings with them in one song . I guess that some RS fans were very upset about that, but if Mick Jagger and Co want to sing with her, who in this world are we to criticize them?? Jagger is more open minded that many of us.

With the link i provided, i was merely proving that neither Justin Timberlake nor Madonna 2008 have any talent, and are here only due to popularity. Heck, Justin Timberlake even changes his personality base on the crowd he is around. All whites? Justin acts white. All blacks? Justin mysteriously develops white ghetto slang.
