@9 nobody again: oh, further to previous point, is that the torrent site eztv.it (up until recently anyway – check the site link for details), was uploading quite a lot of the tv shows that appear here. stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

the reason why a lot of people use direct downloads, is that they are not dependent on seeders… my direct downloads as linked by rlslog generally download individually at a full download speed of 320kb/s (3mb connection),

and secondly, even if you are a torrent leecher, you are still eating into your broadband cap by uploading information (despite leeching) at the same time as downloading torrent files. direct downloads are simply better. u receive information/data, without uploading, whatever about the minimal amount of packet transmission

although hotfile, etc. are subscription services as well as free with limitations, nobody's putting a gun to your head to use the subscription service. i don't. neither does the staff of rlslog. copyrighted material should not be charged for. eventually this will ruin it for everybody. mark my words.

the reason why piratebay and usenet have failed/are failing respectively, is the former pissed off the wrong people too much and rubbed their faces in it. the latter charge for material, which is copyrighted. simple as that.

the best torrent sites are those that do not charge… that is the real definition of an online community of this kind.
