Ne-Yo-Because of You-2007-OSC
Now that’s something I will probably never listen to, but R&B is kinda popular in these days so why not to post it here. Ne-Yo is fairly unfamiliar R&B singer for me, but those who listen this music genre will know him for sure. He’s still a freshman, with his first album released just in 2006. The album Because of You contains also two guests songs, one with Jay-Z. Nice audio quality from group OSC included.
Because of You is the upcoming sophomore album from Def Jam recording artist Ne-Yo, the album is to be released on the April 24, 2007. The lead single is “Because of You”. The song leaked into the Internet February 3, 2007, and a remix featuring Joe Budden has been leaked into the Internet as well. A second song, “Put Your Hands Up”, was leaked on February 28, 2007. A third song, “Call Me Crazy”, was leaked on March 19, 2007. This album will also include a guest appearance from Trinity Stone, Busta Rhymes, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Jay-Z and Fabolous. A fourth song, “Make It Work” was leaked on April 10, 2007. The title was originally Outta This World before being changed to Because of You. Ne-Yo then changed it to Know Me, before reverting to Because of You.
Shaffer Chimere Smith (born on October 18, 1982 in Camden, Arkansas but raised in Las Vegas, Nevada) is an American R&B singer-songwriter. He is best known by his stage name, Ne-Yo. He is currently signed to Def Jam Records. He was previously best known for co-writing Mario’s 2004 number one hit, “Let Me Love You”, before he began a recording career of his own in 2005. Ne-Yo’s debut album, In My Own Words, was released in early 2006 and debuted at number one on The Billboard 200 selling 301,000 copies in the first week. During the same period, Ne-Yo’s second single, “So Sick”, (produced by Stargate) became the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He is of African-American, Puerto Rican, and Chinese descent.

Ne-Yo had some good releases and is pretty good if you are into the genre. He keeps to the roots of R&B and not some cheesy sell-out to the mainstream kinda R&B Hiphop. Good download for R&B aficionados. Must down

Ug. This is exactly what is wrong with R&B today. Just get a bunch of current names to be “featured” on half the album because you know the songs aren’t good enough to stand on their own. This type of music should not be called R&B anymore. Real R&B is some Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight, and the like. This is more like C&P, contrived and predictable.

! Um, nota lot to say, but im bored. 
Ne-Yo has a few good songs such as: So Sick , Sexy Love & Because Of You. He has some other good songs, but a lot of them aren’t that great. 
[Sorry] Anyway he is ok , and could do much better if he started working with larger artists, [ just like Nelly Furtado did with Timberland & Justin Timberlake] and if he did some songs that werent so sad and slow. Like C’mon, some people get “So Sick of Love songs, so sad and slow” they wanna turn off the radio. Ne-Yo is still ok. Well that is enough of this for me. Bye! [ Btw.
