Finally a new game! RELOADED just came up with a new version for NBA. NBA 2K9. It’s 5.82gb big, which is quite big for an NBA game. It’s with a third party installer cause it uses Steam. No crack needed. Have fun.

It’s once again time to drive the lane with this 2008 edition of 2K Sports’ b-ball game. NBA 2K9 is the premier basketball game for serious players, delivering a realistic, stylistic, and feature-rich simulation basketball experience. This year’s edition features an improved Association franchise mode, adding a Player Ambitions system and an NBA.com interface. Individual players also have special Hot Zones and Signature Shots, making the action on the floor as realistic as it is in the NBA.

    @Gard… I haven’t finished dling yet the torrent of 3RDM … hopefully it would be done much later… from what I’ve seen at the thepiratebay.org there are many complaints about the terrible slowdown / black screen / BSOD / game shutdown/ of Vista 64…

    also the one u posted…just a question…N_PVI0rv.part

    what kind of file is that…and what should i do with that…
    still dling at the moment since the download is only at 5-20 kbps :( After dling will it become a rar file???

    lordgrayback the link from 39 i believe has 60 parts works just fine the first time without any extra download of anything else on vista 64…..

    The only problem that I’m experiencing is… I cant hear very well what the commentators are talking about… even at max volume setting… anyway to solve this problem

    Why are people waiting for NHL 09?!? The NHL dev team have forsaken PC users. NHL 09 on the PC is just like NHL 07 but with updated rosters and minor tweaks. So you’re better off modding your old NHL game. Sad really.

    @sakiboj I’ve got similar problem whit RELOADED version,game starts but whit some big errors in video in the background of start screen and when I start some match, game throw me back in win whiteout any error message-it just disappear like is never been started.My drivers, DirectX are latest and my PC meet hd rqv.

    im having the same issue with the sound. at first its got sound starting from the main menu and then it disappears when you start a quick game. im using an emu 0404 soundcard, meant to be much better than any soundblaster crap

    how do you install it? do i just run the nba2k9setup.exe and let it install through winrar? cause i tried it and when i try to play it, it said theres an installation error and tells me to reinstall. plz help

    Extract with winrar All 61 files, which gave an RLD-nbk9.iso, used the dameon tools, and appears 4 files nba2k9setup. Once you click starts to install. When I try to play the game

    installed all the Installers folder. The game does not work.

    This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

    What does it take to run the game? Please help me

    I need an answer, if someone had the problem and managed to play the game.

    its 100% working..i downloaded netload file and extracted all 16 files to make it .iso, then using poweriso, mount the image and automatic pop-up appears then just extract it to its natural folder which is c:\program files\nba2k9, it takes just a little time to wait. then there it goes..just look for the icon then run it..everthing goes fine on me. the sound is great, gameplay is great. i gave it 9/10.

    In this image has four nba2k9setup files, you click the executable, starts to install..

    Once you install everything that is in the folder Installers: Inside Microsoft C++ – Direct X -.. Installed everything.

    Except that after the game that I folder C: program files – NBA 2k9 – click on the executable (nba 2k9.exe).

    Appears: Application failed to initialize because the configuration. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

    Is not possible that I will have to get another, to see if it will make problem again …

    My Computer: Core 2 Duo e6600 – 2 GHz DDR2 800 – HD 320 GB SATA 2 – ATI X1950 XT 256 MB – all updated drivers.

    The worst is that many people managed to run, others do not.

    u have an .iso copy? coz i dwnload netload parts which is 400mb in every part. after extracting all 16 parts of netload it creates an .iso which can be mounted using magiciso or poweriso. if u mount this, a winrar will autorun, i just extract it using a default folder. then it’s done. i only click the executable (nba2k9.exe).

    my pc specs: AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 4400+
    2Ghz DDR2 800
    HD 80gb SATA
    Nvidia GeForce 8500gt 512mb

    The same thing happened to me. This is really frustrating, because it takes forever to re-install. I get the same error every time:

    Anyone have any idea what I should do?

    For those having the problem “This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem”, I found the fix!

    After NBA 2K9 installs, you must install all what you have in the installers directory (C:\Program Files\NBA 2K9\installers), and they are:

    DirectX- find the DXSetup program
    dotnetfx.exe
    vcredist_x86.exe

    The game loaded FINE after I installed these 3 things.

    WARNING!!!
    I got trojan from installing NBA 2k9.
    Every time at pc startup internet explorer opened with website “http://tvstream.ath.cx”.
    If you have this same issue, look for file ati2sgav.exe located in the Registry and C:\windows\system32 dir.

    One thing that I don’t get, is that if this is a port from the 360, then why 360 version better. I think the biggest problem I have is that thier clothes do not move. I have been waiting for this game since I heard it was coming out for pc and since I have been playing the 360 version, I thought it would be the same if not better. If I had bought this game I would have been very very very mad so I’m glad im getting it free. OH and the games works perfectly so there you have it.

    I take that back…this game dont work perfectly. After about 4 mins into the game, it shuts off for not particular reason. I’m well over the requirements but I have no clue why it shuts off.

    ive noticed i very big bug in this game. in the exhibition game of 5on5, after the ball goes in to the basket nobody picks up the ball and if someone does, the game will just continue. after the ball sinks into the basket, the opposing team should pick up the ball and then go to the sideline and pass it to teammates. but this seems to be the problem, once you shoot the ball and score you can just get the ball again “even right after in has gone into the basket” and score again. how did you guys resolved this problem? how can i fix this?

    RELOADED AND VISTA 64!!!

    Guys i found out ow to fix the reloaded version to play under vista 64..
    Its a weird way but it works..download latest steam and download the NBA 2K9 OFFICIAL DEMO as soon as its going to launch it will make some C++ updates and other crucial stuff
    after that uninstall the demo and launch your nba2k9.exe
    in your unzipped reloaded nba2k9 folder it worked for me!!
    im running it under vista 64!!

    P.S Dont w8 for vista 64 fix cause it wont be any :P
    the game ought to run under vista 64 :P
