One doesn’t have to be smart to be rich. One just tends to be smart when one is rich. Better education, less limited view of the world (affordability of traveling helps a lot), better access to intelligent people with varying viewpoints… Come on, money may not be everything, but it is helluva something. Besides, if we’re speaking of somebody who’s built the fortune from nothing, that person has got to have some sort of intelligence. As for rich people not living in poor black neighborhoods, come on, what does it have to do with racism? There is a difference with hating shitholes and hating black people who are being ignored, mistreated, or underrepresented enough to be forced to live there.

Oh, and Tshingis, will allowing the use of swastika in Germany immediately drive all Germans to grow toothbrush mustaches and join Hitler Youth and Sturmabteilung? You know, I’ve been to Germany and I don’t believe that the scenario I just described is plausible by any stretch of imagination. I’d say that things would more or less stay as they are now. After all, it’s not swastika that killed millions of innocent people, but the ones who pretty much arbitrarily chose it to be their symbol.

I like being German too, but unlike “Tshingis”, I don’t have to be a Bush-brained, gutter-snipe to express my disagreement with people’s opinions. I’m sure even non-Germans can appreciate rational debate with facts instead of play-ground potty-mouth splutterings. I attribute good-breeding, and positive cultural influences which allow me to rise above the socially acceptable political past-time of hating ‘haters’ in favor of germane debate.
