really, you guys should stop attacking editors..
tbh i have to agree that rlslog has gone downwards, but that's only one persons fault. he is responsible for the loss in quality but probably doesn't care because the money is still the same.

anyhow, if you people keep offending the few editors that are left, they will stop posting releases too.

or comments might be shut down.

it can always get worse, so be glad with what's left

I really enjoy the documentaries (particularly the military stuff) and there aren't that many places that post them so thanks for that. I have to agree with those though that say that the posts aren't particularly useful without RS links or at least a torrent. There were some documentaries posted two days ago that I still haven't been able to find a public source for. There was a time when NBZ links were useful but these days they're just not if you're looking for TV stuff.

't would be nice if, whenever you have an avalanche of natgeo rips, you'd post them all in one topic so that my RSS feed doesn't get swamped and real movies get pushed off.
cheers

Thanks for the Nat Geo stuff. I'm a Nat Geo fan and appreciate your postings. That said, it would be nice if download links were provided even though they may not be part of the deal. Thanks all the same.

I like the fact Rlslog offers a variety of releases and downloads. Thank you iX. You just may want to recheck your attitude towards readers.

And let's be fair. When it comes to sucking Martin is the blackhole of Rlslog.

What the last bloke said. I enjoy good docos which pretty much rules out national geographic boys own stories of the white man's burden at empire ie what the f**K were Soppy 'Alfwitted Squaddies doing in Africa except aiding some greedy chinless englanders to steal diamonds?
That aside docos do not belong in the movies section of this board.
Like most other doco heads I have specialist boards I go to which do include usenetand rapidshare links. If releaselog chooses to keep put these up after the childish spam-in staged above (reckon an analysis of the IP addresses distribution of all the doco fanbois would be revealing), then for god's sake put em in their own thread not the movies one.
Although given that most people into docos already use specialist boards that carry links it is difficult to envisage such a thread being popular. But it wouldn't chase away the movie heads.
Cause lets face it if the movie board is going list irrespective of available links, as well as loading up on non-movies such as docos, www.vcdq.com is a better bet.
That board is complete, timely and has a well regarded rating service that informs the movie worthiness along with picture and sound quality of all releases.

iX, get off your high horse. Face it, there aren't any rapidshare links to your posts because what you are posting isn't really what the majority of RLSlog readers come here for. If you were running a business, you'd run it straight into the ground by alienating your core customers.

I personally think Nat Geo documentaries are amazing, however I won't tell someone who doesn't watch them, that they are morons for not "getting them". Watch whatever you like to watch in your spare time, but don't force it down the throats of readers who clearly prefer other stuff.

And, oh, please get your tagging right, "TV Shows" and "HDRip" adds the posts to both Movies and TV Shows sections, irritating for readers who come to RLSlog only for movie releases.

I don't mind seeing Nat Geo stuff, even though I'm not downloading them. However it would be so much better if we could just have one "Latest Vids from Nat Geo" post listing them all instead of an individual post from each one.

At the first poster: I started paying for a Giganews Platinum account years ago and have never regetted it to this day. Anything you want, TV shows, movies, PC games, console system games, music, whatever - and the download rate is only limited by your connection speed. I download stuff at over 1meg/sec all day long.

@ 28: impressive. There are loads of sources for this stuff, man. These aren't fake releases, this stuff is all available. Try IRC. Fair enough, it may not be on public channels immediately, but ask around on there, get to know some people. Hell, you could get on a private FTP for $5 a month & download anything you want..

tu ix,
as someone said, i would never download this if i hadn't read about it here. it is strange how internet makes us talk (read write) before we think. i wonder if ppl outside of the internet would complain about something that was free of charge. it is like complaining about the free doughnut u just got.
