I cant get this work:

National Geographic Extraterrestrials Blue Moon 720p HDTV x264-DiCH

Its a Wmv file which cannot be rendered in WMPC, VLC or even in WMP which asks for some license containing trojan. What to do? Please help.

@24 If you want to pay a dime for their efforts, why are you on this site? What the heck are you doing in a scene release site? Go to a site that gives updates on DVD releases and get them legally online or from a brick and mortar store. Practice what you preach!

I don’t know why people consider it “paying” for pirated media. It’s paying for hosting and someone else’s bandwidth. You pay for your ISP don’t you? (that is of course unless you steal that too). You are paying that service, ie. rapidshare, to set up a server and host the file at quick speeds. Sure i could get on IRC and search for some bots, wait in queue and get my file some time later. I’m not paying for the pirated media, I’m paying for convenience. Sometimes I just want that download like NOW, for example my porn. I could also waste time looking around in google for it, but again, I’m paying for convenience. Rapidshare links are abundant, very easy to find, and many use it. When I was younger with lots of free time and no money, I could use that time to search for free fast links. Now, it’s worth it to me to pay that $80 some for that convenience. If anyone’s a place that posts almost old, new, not popular, popular, and FAST, then link me and I’ll use that instead.

the point is you are still PAYING to download, when you should be paying the people who actually produced the shows. They aren’t receiving a dime for their efforts, whilst someone who basically did nothing is getting rewarded for it.

@13 You still PAY for the bandwidth to download pirated stuff. Your bandwidth usage sometimes doubles as well because it includes DOWNLOAD and UPLOAD if you are using torrents. If you are downloading stuff that has not many seeders which can be a lot depending on the popularity ranging from documentaries to lossless music, you may need to wait days before you download a file.

The money you pay to download from usenet and rapidshare is far less compared to money you would need to pay to download all those shows legally. So while paying for pirated stuff may sound ridiculous, it is better than waiting for days or even months to download stuff.
