Instead of doing individual posts for various documentaries below, I decided to combine them in pack. There is quite a bit of variety so there should be something for everyone. Just remember: where and how to grab these releases is your own responsibility.

Aurelia and Blue Moon are hypothetical examples of a planet and a moon on which extraterrestrial life could evolve. They are the outcome of a collaboration between television company Blue Wave Productions Ltd. and a group of American and British scientists who were collectively commissioned by National Geographic.     Your statement makes absolutely no sense. Usenet allows people to download tons of media from shows to apps to games. If you have the ability to check out shows you would otherwise miss why not, for a low price or free? I for one hate commercials and refuse to pay for cable TV because it is expensive, shows reruns, and last time I checked there were 10 minutes of commercials for every 10 minutes of TV show. Why am I paying to see commercials?

    Could you imagine having a $100 a month cell phone and while talking every 10 minutes you are interrupted, call placed on hold to hear about the latest Tide commercial, Nike Shoes and Depends diapers? It is the same thing.

    So for me, i download an entire series in HD usually commercial free.

    Also, i get to see movies that I wouldn’t normally risk going to see for $10-12 dollars. Out of all the movies I have seen in my life, and for sake of argument lets say that was 1000 movies, I probably enjoyed 200 of them. The other 800 were either boring or horrible. I think I have given the MPAA enough money for a lifetime.

    Is it stealing? Yes, I guess you could say it is. Stealing in the sense that TV is stealing money from me, double dipping, charging me to watch their commercials.

    Whether it’s right to share copyrighted media for free isn’t the point.

    Starx was saying that you shouldn’t PAY for pirated content. It’s very stupid for a number of reasons.

    The main reason is that your supporting pirating for profit. Instead of giving money to support the developers of the content, your giving it to some dude that’s running a couple of boxes in his garage.

    If you really don’t want the hammer to come down on illegal downloads, you shouldn’t pay for pirated content.

    Get it for free from torrents, and with your usenet/rapidshare money, go buy the ones that deserve your cash

    Paying for downloads is not acceptable.

    Use your brain and search for ‘free’ sites. If you are going to pay for downloads then take that money and pay the people who own the rights for what you are downloading.

    @13 You still PAY for the bandwidth to download pirated stuff. Your bandwidth usage sometimes doubles as well because it includes DOWNLOAD and UPLOAD if you are using torrents. If you are downloading stuff that has not many seeders which can be a lot depending on the popularity ranging from documentaries to lossless music, you may need to wait days before you download a file.

    The money you pay to download from usenet and rapidshare is far less compared to money you would need to pay to download all those shows legally. So while paying for pirated stuff may sound ridiculous, it is better than waiting for days or even months to download stuff.

    the point is you are still PAYING to download, when you should be paying the people who actually produced the shows. They aren’t receiving a dime for their efforts, whilst someone who basically did nothing is getting rewarded for it.

    I don’t know why people consider it “paying” for pirated media. It’s paying for hosting and someone else’s bandwidth. You pay for your ISP don’t you? (that is of course unless you steal that too). You are paying that service, ie. rapidshare, to set up a server and host the file at quick speeds. Sure i could get on IRC and search for some bots, wait in queue and get my file some time later. I’m not paying for the pirated media, I’m paying for convenience. Sometimes I just want that download like NOW, for example my porn. I could also waste time looking around in google for it, but again, I’m paying for convenience. Rapidshare links are abundant, very easy to find, and many use it. When I was younger with lots of free time and no money, I could use that time to search for free fast links. Now, it’s worth it to me to pay that $80 some for that convenience. If anyone’s a place that posts almost old, new, not popular, popular, and FAST, then link me and I’ll use that instead.

    @24 If you want to pay a dime for their efforts, why are you on this site? What the heck are you doing in a scene release site? Go to a site that gives updates on DVD releases and get them legally online or from a brick and mortar store. Practice what you preach!

    I cant get this work:

    National Geographic Extraterrestrials Blue Moon 720p HDTV x264-DiCH

    Its a Wmv file which cannot be rendered in WMPC, VLC or even in WMP which asks for some license containing trojan. What to do? Please help.
