National Geographic Megastructures World Island Wonder PDTV XviD-REViSiON

Dubai is on a mission: to become to top tourist destination on the planet. This Emirate has almost tripled its coast line, by building a palm-shaped city at sea. Now Dubai plans to put itself firmly on the map by recreating the world, three hundred man-made islands constructed out in the Arabian gulf. It’s the biggest reclamation project ever undertaken. The world can only be built of natural elements they demand by the shape. But it must define nature’s most destructive force: the sea. Engineers will battle against time and nature to create this man-made wonder visible from space. But will this creation of this mega structure push Dubai to the limit? whoa, Dubai takes a third of the world’s cranes. that’s lots of cranes!

I watched this one on TV at least 2 times and it is still amazing how the engineers did it. Even with the tight deadline.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but seriously, can you stop spaming rlslog with history tv rips, usually theres not even half of the mainstream tv shows being posted here, becouse it would flood the site. This is whats happening now. perhaps its fun for the 0.1% of rlslogs visitors who likes history programs, but for the majority I think its just annyoing to look through 3 pages only to find 2 posts having something to do with another release

I agree. This is the kind of stuff I stop on while I’m channel surfing, not the stuff I download.

A documentary, A as in 1 would not be a problem for me, but if you check the last 10 pages or rlslog, half of em are full of this is crap. Hey perhaps its interesting to some, but not to the majority of rlslogs visitors I would think, and in eitherway it does NOT warrant taking up 50% of the newsposts

i agree with the majority on this one, recently this site is getting bloated with garbage that i just dont care about…I would prefer if they focused on major releases

@ FarSighT… I can understand your frustration; you sound like you’re from an English-speaking country where this stuff is on TV anyway. However, my feeling (though I don’t have absolute proof) is that the majority of visitors to this sight reside in non-English speaking countries. For all those people, rlslog is to be applauded for providing information on these documentaries (which, let’s face it, are pretty mainstream and light on the intellect).
So, while I agree that there could be an argument for splitting the presentation of genres right from the start, I don’t believe it’s fair to call this stuff “crap”. This type of programming is ideal for educational purposes i.e. learning English across the planet; more so than film and TV. The vast majority of people are never going to get these documentaries on TV, or on DVD. The Internet resolves that issue.
So kudos to rlslog for providing this important social service.

Ah me calling the doc’s crap was a poor choice of words, I did not mean to offend anyone who do like the shows and by all means, if theres alot of peers on the torrents keep posting them, but please, since you do post so many can you atleast make the posts smaller, and perhaps link to info instead of posting huge pics and so on.

And I still feel that Docs have little or no space on a p2p/scene related news site
