BTW people need to remember that no type of government up to present has been able to work well or effectively. All of them screw up something somewhere. We haven't seen a well oiled or run government ever and it's doubtful we will ever live to see it either as we run ourselves. Again all of them screw us or f-up no one is immune to this.

Could it be that the US stole the idea? LOL!

#1, You are correct on that one. But you should add that German quality is far superior to even the Japanese products. No doubt about it!

@RP The policies of the united states before and after WWI were isolationist and it was the people that didn't want war. The American perspective at the time and most Americans would feel same if living during that time. Europe was still controlled by monarchies and it was really about historical hatred and quibbling nobles as it usually was or is.

The bottom line for both wars is would the nations that were supported survived without our intervention? No? I rest my case. This same logic applies to America during it's rebellion as without French and Spanish involvement and Indian things would have failed or been drastically dragged out or worse.

@62, "The realist" its true that wilson did indeed initiate the formation of the united nations (first called the league of nations in world war one) its just a shame that he also decided to keep a policy of neutrality and isolation, aka cowardice, until 3 years later in 1917 when the germans unrestricted submarine warfare started to affect the united states. Maybe if he had not been afraid to send his troops into trench warfare, it would have ended sooner. and as for the being jealous of america comment, i mean c'mon really?

Stimpie ignorance is bliss. It's truly a shame that the united states created the united nations twice and tried to foster cooperation in military operations to benefit everyone involved.

It's ok to be jealous of the united states. The good thing is you can eventually decide to live here or stay where you are and be bitter ;).

USA stole almost every invention there is, from that period of history. Not only that they took nazi scientists to their soil and forced them to develop for them. From engines, computers, cryptography, avionics, electronics, physics, mathematics, and so on and on... One of the fact is president of IBM after the WW2. The fact is USA had quantum leap forward immediately after WW2. Ameri-cans creative nation, I find that hard to believe. Only thing you actually made was that Fakewood, oh and i almost forgot Disney**ckingland.Enjoy your SUVs, eat burgers, have an awesome glamour party, **ck a sheep, and **ck donkeys *ock and *alls. Have a nice life drones.

@ 55 Lol!

However - the 1st wild computer virus was actually on an Apple in 1981 (so us Apple users shouldn't be so smug about our lack of virus attacks).

The 1st ever pc virus was written as an experiment in 1971 and was called the Creeper Virus.
