If you want sort of image quality, than I do STRONGLY recommend you better download the NUKED version of this movie by FRAY! This version here by DONE has lower image resolution, drastically lower video bitrate, and consequently a much worse picture. Not bad for a 1CD release, bud bad compared to FRAYs 2CD release.

On the other hand IF you don’t use you computer to playback your xvid movies but you must rely on a STANDALONE PLAYER, than you might get problems with FRAYs 2cd release. Due to its high bitrate (1850 kbit/s) a standalone xvid player’s video processor might stutter and stumble (to much data). DONEs 1cd release comes with only 885 kbit/s.

I don’t have a TV set anyways, my only monitor is my computer monitor. And my computer monitor has a much higher resolution (1280*900px) than any regular TV set (less than 720*576 for PAL or less than 720*480 for NTSC). And don’t tell me of standalone player upscaling feature. Image information that is not available is not available. Though you can sharpen or unsharp mask an upscaled image, but so can Media Player Classic mpc by gabest/guliverkli with FFDSHOW Tryouts on my system – much better than most standalone devices. But that’s just me.

Btw: I fancy DONE releases, normally. But not this time.

The reason I want it changed is because it interferes with your comment text when you’re typing. It’s not a big deal but since Martin used my previous one, I thought he might want to use this new one as it doesn’t interfere with text at all. Plus the red color makes it more noticeable.
