Sceners from group DoNE don’t take a rest even at Christmas Eve (neither do we 
) as they released a proper dvdrip of Nancy Drew. This movie was published 3 days ago by group FRAY, but it was nuked for being oversized (2 CDs instead of 1). I personally don’t support such a nuke reasons but 96 mins can really fit on 1 CD, so if you haven’t downloaded the first dvdrip yet, this is your second chance…
This movie is about Nancy Drew going to Los Angeles California with her father, who was going there on business. While she was there she happened upon a mystery that involved a murdered movie actress, and her daughter. Nancy found out her her daughter was, when nobody even knew that the actress had any kids, and the actress’s daughter inherited all of the actress’s money. At the end of the movie, once they got back home, Ned and Nancy kissed for what I think was their first actual kiss, and right after their quick kiss Nancy’s father told her that she had a call from some people in Germany, who were talking about the Loch Ness Monster.

How about you shut your mouth. I haven’t watched this movie yet, and I intend to do so without anyone opening their mouth about it being bad.
So aside from possibly being too large of a rip…was there any issue with the first release? If not this should be nuked for a dupe.

The first release by fray was unnuked and had ac3 audio and a higher video bit rate so better quality so this should be nuked for being an invalid proper.

Who cares the first is perfect, I have already done and watched it. 1400 / 700 just takes longer they both look and sound the same… big deal! What about hacked extra songs and keygens for GHIII PC… now that would be special…. Where the hell is santa on this one!
another hollywood garbage movie, just like all the other releases the last few years. i am legend was just half assed corny stuff too while it was hailed as classic/amazing/blabla.
american movies are just way too cliche, lame and boring, but it seems the sheep demand that so they get it.

I personally like a good nuking, but i think that the First movies was near perfect quality. As far as the move goes it is a half decent kids movie. It has some adult elements to it without going too far shrek style (I love shrek). If anyone has anything bald to say they should really get a life. There are plenty of grown up movies that they can go and criticize.
This “proper” is a joke, 2 CD has always been acceptable for a rip with 5.1 sound. The FRAY release has better sound, better resolution, higher bitrate, better bits/pixel…
The lame nuke reasons these last couple of months are pathetic.

Anyone know when “No Country For Old Men” DVDscr is coming out? Someone lied yesterday and said it would be soon. There are still many Oscar contenders not yet released on DVDscr, such as “There Will Be Blood” and “Charlie Wilson’s War”. I’m hoping those will be here by January 1st.

If you want sort of image quality, than I do STRONGLY recommend you better download the NUKED version of this movie by FRAY! This version here by DONE has lower image resolution, drastically lower video bitrate, and consequently a much worse picture. Not bad for a 1CD release, bud bad compared to FRAYs 2CD release.

On the other hand IF you don’t use you computer to playback your xvid movies but you must rely on a STANDALONE PLAYER, than you might get problems with FRAYs 2cd release. Due to its high bitrate (1850 kbit/s) a standalone xvid player’s video processor might stutter and stumble (to much data). DONEs 1cd release comes with only 885 kbit/s.
I don’t have a TV set anyways, my only monitor is my computer monitor. And my computer monitor has a much higher resolution (1280*900px) than any regular TV set (less than 720*576 for PAL or less than 720*480 for NTSC). And don’t tell me of standalone player upscaling feature. Image information that is not available is not available. Though you can sharpen or unsharp mask an upscaled image, but so can Media Player Classic mpc by gabest/guliverkli with FFDSHOW Tryouts on my system – much better than most standalone devices. But that’s just me.
Btw: I fancy DONE releases, normally. But not this time.
