Mythematika – Mythematika-2009-MYCEL
Mythematika is basically a totally unknown name of Czech author of great ambient music. I discovered this release and tried it out and it turned out to be a pretty decent chillout music, ideal for relaxing or enjoying an afterparty.
Mythematica is an alter ego of an original artist and a talented music producer Daniel Spacek. During three incredibly short years he managed to find a key to transform his fanciful, surrealistic video projections and visual compositions, well-known among the Czech psytrance community, into a musical language as well. Mythematica opens the gate into a curious world. Into a labyrinth of curious worlds, to be more accurate. And perhaps we will be remembering on this dreamy fairy-tale journey that the time was passing slower and motionless forms coming to life were almost carelessly taken for granted when we were children. Was it not said that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to children?

I'm having trouble finding a listing of how long each track runs (so I can chop up the file into their tracks). Any ideas where I can source this info?

Not a big deal. Download full release with cue file in it (e.g. http://rs289.rapidshare.com/files/275176669/Mythematika_-_Mythematika-2009-MYCEL.rar)
Cut it up accordingly using any splitter utility (Medieval Cue Splitter will do).
I dont mind warez group releasing my album, i somehow just waited for it to happen, but what makes me sad, that those dumbass cant even spell my name correct .. what a shame ;]

If you are really who you say you are THANKS! This is some great music right here. Listened to it all the way through twice yesterday and essentially meditated…..really trippy.

It's a good listen. I really like Vitam Vas in particular. Reminds me of my home.
Where can I get the physical package in the US? It looks quite nice.
A more capable release group should release this under its correct name and split up into individual tracks.

@Mythematica… Brilliant album and after taking a listen, I will definitely go and buy an original copy. I hope the greedy record corporations can take note here and see that we are not 'pirates' taking money away from their already big fat pockets, we truly appreciate good music and WILL buy it, if only to support true artists with real musical integrity. I never heard about Mythematica before, but after listening to the MP3, I decided to buy the album from Amazon!
Great stuff…in some parts it reminds me a little of Boards of Canada.

This is probably one of the best albums I have come across in years. Very talented. I can tell a lot of detail was put into it. I originally downloaded it from torrents… I liked it so much that I decided to order it off psyshop.com. I highly recommend this and I wish more people could know about it!!!!
