    what makes this show utterly unwatchable for anyone not a moron is that it has only five minutes of true content.

    first they tell you what they are going to do, then they tell you again, then they get off on a sidetrack, then they waste time with all kinds of preparation info, then they tell you again what they are going to do….eventually there are 1.5 minutes per myth showing the actual ‘experiment’….then they show you again and tell you four more times what they did

    mythbusters is dumbed down to make it “better” viewing but i really enjoy watching it

    utterly a waste of time. I wouldn’t watch this even if I was bored. seen it once and I don’t see the logic in making this series… trying to make easy money over something that already has been proven by scientist… who the heck are they kidding?

    The “preparation” is entertaining if you ask me. It’s not related to me being a moron, I promise.

    They show it off in an entertaining way.

    … and sometimes they do come to surprising conclusions. Like for example, how an elephant actually takes a step back when it sees a mouse.

    So they are not trying to prove anything really, just show off some more or less known stuff in an entertaining way.
