Where on earth did you get the idea that 90% of the men in Africa are circumcised?? The foreskin is an area that harbors germs and bacteria that contributes to the spread of HIV. This is not a disputed fact. They may be living in a 3rd world environment, but they are still people. Since they haven’t got access to food and shelter, let alone quality medical care, who do you think is performing all of those circumcisions? No one.
All of this nonsense about mutilation is just that, nonsense. The reason human men have a foreskin is similar to the reason we have an appendix. Before man created clothing to protect the body, the penis was exposed to the elements of the environment. Since we now wear clothing, that protection is unnecessary. And as with the appendix, we remove it without issue when is becomes problematic.
Some men run around preaching that sex will feel better with a foreskin, or your penis will suffer somehow without it. Since doctors have been performing circumcisions for many decades routinely, they obviously feel the risks outweigh any of these perceived benefits.
