My Bollywood Bride 2006 DVDRip XviD-aAF

Bollywood. A movie industry which produces almost more titles than all famous Hollywood. But quantity isn’t quality in this case and I can hardly remember an Indian movie which would stay in my mind for some time, although I saw not many of them. Anyway, My Bollywood Bride is a slightly better romantic comedy which won a prize at Palm Springs International Film Festival for a foreign movie. You can watch it now thanks to group aAF on a standard 1 CD release.

“My Bollywood Bride” (English language)/(not a musical) tells the story of Alex, a Venice Beach copy writer that dreams of being a novelist whom meets and romances Indian beauty, Reena, while she is on a vacation in California. Reena inspires Alex to follow his heart and realize his destiny. However, torn by her blossoming feelings for Alex and her Indian family values and obligations, Reena returns home without saying goodbye. Alex, distraught by the turn of events, decides to follow her to Bombay to pursue his dream to write and the dream girl whom he fell for.

The trouble is, Alex couldn’t be more out of his element in the land of spice and mystery, not helped by the fact he discovers that Reena has kept a very important secret about herself from him! She is Bollywood’s biggest film star! However, with the help of a rambunctious rickshaw driver and an up and coming film star (Bobby K), Alex just might have a chance at winning her heart. It’s not going to be easy with a very dangerous Producer that will do anything to keep Alex out of his way with Reena! Will Alex win Reena back or are these cultural differences and new challenges just too much for these two to overcome despite their “karmic destiny”?

If you would look at some of the movies mentioned on IMDB they would but other western movies to shame. The factor quality and quantity als applies for hollywood.

I enjoy good movies period, wherever they come from.

I just saw the Don also, it was OK but in even Indian action movies count on them breaking out in song and dance, then resume the killing. At least the chicks are Hot!

confirmed, my firm hires a lot of H1B and H2B visa workers from India – Hindi women are this century’s ‘repressed catholic schoolgirls’ ; very very energetic once you get them purring.
