Wow! Here’s a film I literally hadn’t heard of at all before this rls from ESPiSE, but what a cast! I was pretty stoked when I checked the IMDB page. Natalie Portman, Norah Jones (in her first film acting performance), Jude Law and Rachel Weisz (loved her since The Mummy :P ) among others. With such a cast this film has got to be worth a watch. A 7.2 rating on IMDB and 62% rating on Rotten Tomatoes looks pretty promising. Another thing which caught my eye about this film was the movie poster. I think it looks amazing, pure art (check it out in HiRez below). Download and Enjoy!

Quality: 852kb/s video bitrate and an average of 165kb/s audio bitrate is very nice quality for a 1 CD rls at 697 MB. Chinese and English subs included.

    Directed by Wong Kar Wai? Every film he’s made has been good, not to mention a fairly decent cast (minus Jude Law).

    KWW is one of the most artistic directors I’ve ever known, seen all of his films, got none of them…-_-

    This release seems to be cut from its original running time of 111 minutes (according to the IMDb). This release, as far as I can tell, is only 95 minutes (according to this release’s info), which means roughly 15 minutes of footage is missing. This could be intentional on the filmmaker’s part, of course, but just be careful. Can anyone confirm this?

    Further to my previous post, the running time may very well have been cut down since its premiere at Cannes (at that point, it ran 111 minutes). That sort of thing happens a lot.

    Okay, I’ve just looked the film up on the BBFC website and they have the movie listed with a running time of 95 minutes, so this is correct. Sorry for the false alarm, guys. It seems that Wong has indeed cut it down since its Cannes premiere.

    The original 111-minute version was definitely a director’s cut, this one …, well maybe he changed his mind, or was forced to do so by the distribution company.

    terrible movie, avoid at all costs. even my gf couldn’t stand the bad acting of jones and law. weisz, strathairn & portman are good, but it’s not enough to save this shoddy script. shame on you, mr. wong!

    Only thing I ment you could have known about it, even could have seen it if you had noticed the cam a while ago. That cam was excellent, but for some reason it never appeared on rlslog.
    (and yes, it was a scene rls)

    i think every film wkw makes post-2000 will be compared to ‘in the mood for love’. ‘2047′ didnt deliver, i hope this does. (not a very high hope tho, imdb scores are usually overrated these days)

    oh, and wkw always makes chick flicks. always have, prolly always will. the romance genre is his specialty

    (why is it that we get more subtitles for bad films than for good ones? can sb. post subs for “Lars And The Real Girl”, “Noise”, “Raising Flagg”, …?)

    This is why i was surprised it had not been nuked. The sound crackles and is out of sync in VLC, streaming through my 360, in mpc and on a completely different PC.

    I notice someone else has posted saying the sound crackles so i guess I’m not the only one.
