I think you may need a 3D glasses to watch this one. Or if you don’t have any, you can just skip this coz the movie has already released in a non-3D version a few days ago. I actually went to theatre to watch this movie, quite an experience, now I’m waiting for “Final Destination 3D” in August. Anyway, “My Bloody Valentine” is a 2009 remake of the 1981 Canadian slasher film of the same name. The film was directed and edited by Patrick Lussier, and stars Jensen Ackles and Jaime King. This SAPHiRE release is in 1-CD size with sub included, enjoy!
PLOT: Ten years ago in the town of Harmony, an inexperienced coal miner caused an accident that trapped and killed five men and sent the only survivor, Harry Warden, into a coma. When Harry awoke, exactly one year later on Valentine’s Day, he wanted revenge and brutally murdered 22 people with a pickax before being killed himself. Now, after years of peace, something from Harmony’s dark past has returned. Wearing a miner’s mask and armed with a pickax, an unstoppable killer is on the loose. In the theater you use Real D glasses but you can clearly tell from the sample pic that it's a color deal here….

Other than that, I heard this was supposed to be released in RealD 3d, and I still have my glasses from Coraline, so I'll give it a go, and see. Otherwise, you can make some, with red, and blue permanent marker, and saran wrap, and some cardboard, and glue, as I have done many a time to success when kids lose them, but want to read 3d books, and cry for hours.
You'll need the same glasses as used with Journey to the Center of the Earth, i've just tested them and i get the 3D effect…

You stupid idiot think your smart. It's not the Real D glasses. The LCD monitors at home can't display at the refresh rate of the screens in the cinemas. You use the red/blue ones for this.

Real D uses special technology on theatre screens for which we do not have at home. Unless you have a special projector display WITH STEREOSCOPIC TECHNOLOGY, REAL D WILL NOT WORK.

Looks like you need YELLOW and CYAN glasses for this film. However, the ones we have kicking around at home tend to be RED and BLUE, which are not the same thing at all.
In the cinema, you usually use clear glasses with polarised lenses, or most uncommonly, LCD shutter glasses.
Just goes to show, that there are as many forms of 3d video (in both colour, and Black/white) as there have been attempts to make 3D popular. You cannot match the wrong glasses with any given method, and this applies to the coloured glasses too.

@40… you're right, I was wrong about red/blue. I knew it was colored lenses but wasn't sure which colors. Definitely not REAL D though. That's just not domestically available yet.
I just used my Green/Magenta glasses I got for Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D on the sample video and it seems they are the correct ones. Hard to tell really, the video picture size is so small but it looked correct anyway.

There's a program that can convert any video file\DVD into "3D", so long as you have the glasses. Can't recall the name though..
If you dont have 3d glasses get the non 3d version.

The traditional red and blue glasses, like the ones that came with spy kid 3d will work just fine, I tried them when I first started the movie, however the newer version of glasses that are yellow and almost purple that come with a lot of magazine advertisments these days work better. You will get the 3d effect from the red and blue, but all you will see color wise is shades of red and blue. The new yellow purplish ones give it a richer look and make the color changes alot less noticeable. D glasses like the ones you get at Disney movies will not work at all.

@ 51 All you need to do is check the sample, type magenta in google and click on image results, its quite obvious. Don't listen to the rest of them, those will give you the correct effect.

I'm sorry to say but the ones you are talking about will not work, you need the green left eye and red/purple right eye.
This film is shown using anayglyph green/red, blue and red ones will not work, neither will the ones called intru 3d the ones used for the superbowl and chuck.
Finally, the ones you need are green and red/purple, like I said way back at post 14

You can not use REAL D Glasses with this movie. Because REAL D is a special version and can only be watched on special theaters.. or if you still want to use REAL D you can buy a REAL D competible LCD which is nearly 3000 Euros..
this is a standart red/blue or red/green glasses film 
of course if you watch this in 19' monitor u can not see the effects easily..

Just checked the sample with different glasses. The one that comes with journey to the center of the earth works fine

I'm seeing people say green and purple, red and purple or red and green some say they do work and some say they don't I'ma need for people to come to a general consensus so I can make my mind up of what kind to buy lol.
@103 From what I've read the glasses that come with the DVD are green and pink…don't ask me why. I tried three different pairs in varying combination's and nothing seems to make this look good, so maybe the official glasses are an odd shade? Someone (elsewhere) said the glasses from Journey To The Center Of The Earth work. Why the hell they didn't just use red/cyan is a mystery to me, other then they to sell more of the official dvd/blu-ray release.

Weak horror movie. In beginning there's a few cool scenes, but then goes very poor …

You can use red and blue glasses but you must reverse them first – red in right eye and blue in the left.

I just bought 3d glasses "JTTCOE" cyan/green and they work but not perfectly. There's 3d effect visible but colours of the movie are very unaccurate and there's still very visible ghosting. Maybe red/green would be better IDK i'm not gonna try, just will watch movie in normal 720p 2d quality.
