1. I care because I like this site and don’t want to see it flushed down the toilet by all the petty fighting.

2. I just spent the last 45 minutes going back through the last 20 pages of posts by Mr. X and I only found one comment that might be considered inappropriate; in the post for a comedy special he comments that black comedians are usually funny. While technically qualifying as racist, I don’t see how it’s offensive to compliment a group of people. Other than that, I can’t see anything he’s written that would offend anyone. Note that I didn’t go through the comments, I was only looking at his release posts. If you can point me to examples of where he’s made unprovoked offensive comments, I’ll happily take a look at them.

who is bragging? it’s a lame card. btw, my HTPC does have an FX5200. my old inspiron even has a mobility 5200. did i say i was burning 100 fps on crysis? no. barely 30 on source games.

this thread sucks on my Inspiron 6400 duo 2ghz 2gig 256/x1400 160gig. that’s well above the minimum req for this thread, but the signal/noise ratio is lame.

The original post was deleted BY MARTIN NOT X.It was the I.P number and Email address along with the info that he is banned for the user Sarles.Sarles made a comment about a post X did, nothing much it was like ”and when i was hopping Mr.X wouldn’t post any useless crap here he goes again ” something like that. the post was truly crap and sarles was expressing his opinion a very true one if you ask me. But X was once again to sensitive and stupendously overreacting to the mater….and to imagine that sarles was one of the users who was bucking up X when many other people didn’t . the bottom line read every opinion at this post and we all realize that the problem here is nobody else but Mr.X. no?….

I\’ve been browsing here and commenting for a while, I\’ve seen drama go up and down from trolling to spam to even this. For the most part the site never had much of an issue finding resolve, keyword nukes in posts ended up being a great addition to stop every post from being a series of swearing.

The latest outcome though is a bit disturbing, turning off comments shows the minority the result for their actions, but it also punishes the community at large, if the TV season wasn\’t so slow does that mean that for 24, House, Lost, Heroes, etc that comments would be cut-off despite the fanbase and appreciation of the users that rely on those posts from you guys? It seems like it probably would.

On top of this last night I saw the IP posting of the user and their email address. Yeah it\’s your site, your rules, it\’s private interests and policy, but there\’s a point for any user when they see something like that go down that makes them question, what are the real interests and policies of the site. I for one, have no trust in this site anymore, I will not be returning because I don\’t need to be on a site that feels that user privacy isn\’t a concern and are quick to out vital records onto the internet in such a scene as this. Too many other things are at work by the AA\’s to just write off actions like this as acceptable at any level.

It\’s been a good run, I liked helping out and posting tech info or talking about shows, but that time has ended abruptly due to these actions. Regardless of deleting the comment to cover the trail almost half a day later, it happened and now this site goes on my blocklist. Good luck with your site direction, I\’ll go back to IRC for discussion.
