   What is this, music for the deaf? It's hideously monotone it might as well be sung by a deaf person anyway?

   12 tracks=49.58MB and it's VOCAL!! Are you kidding me? Vocal requires the highest bandwidth available for proper reproduction(and no, that's not 320kbps either).

   My god, what has the hyper-compressed world become? Pretty soon people will speak in monotone and only say half a word, while letting you guess what the rest sounds like.

   You'd think with the technology of today, people would have better musical taste and would demand better quality. Instead we live in a world where 48kbps satellite radio feeds and 128kbps MP3's are acceptable mediums for audio reproduction.

   But you make no mention of sinatra?! your music taste blows as does all the other kids listening to this garbage and calling it music.

   I see the Nazi Storm Troopers of Audio Quality are out in force, pretending they can tell the difference between FLAC and a MP3 at 320kbs, yet not really grasping basic human hearing.

    i agree dude. the bitrate that is put out is hideous. at the very least albums should be 256 cbr. at least. and jazz + classical should be 320 or lossless (flac)

    its a shame that in this day and age, we're still getting rips that are vbr average about 150kbps. its a stupid thing to do

    Nazi Storm Troopers? Obviously not because we would have rouded up you tone deaf morons and gassed you already.

    Human hearing? When you take over 1440 kbps and compress it to 320 kbps, you certainly can hear the difference; if not, you are deaf.

    Of course you need good hardware to appreciate such loss, today's crap sounding i-Pods and MP3's aren't dynamic enough to notice anything.

    Can't tell the difference between 320 and FLAC? I can tell the difference between two CD's based on manufacturer. All you need is a REAL audio system and these differences, which aren't audble with an i-Pod, stand out like a throbbing, sore thumb.

    Even 320kbps sounds like sh*t when compared to an original, and yes I do keep the vinyl close by; even if just to prove to friends how CD's clip and color the high end around 15kHz compared to far superior vinyl cuts.

    You obviously have the ears of a modern teenager, and wouldn't know real audio if you heard it.

    Is anyone else wondering why the "Nazi Storm Trooper" is even on this site considering he/she has such great (albeit self-proclaimed) knowledge? You'd think he/she would be smart enough not to waste the time and energy…but maybe NSTs just need to vent in anonymity to prevent the dark side of the force from recognizing them while teaching those 'friends' a lesson or two in audio-snobbery.
