MS pushed out another beta of Internet Explorer 7

With one day delay, I’ve decided to write about new beta version of Internet Explorer 7. This new version is available for 32bit version of Windows XP with installed Service Pack 2, same as for some other operating systems. The promo from Microsoft looks so cool:

Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) Beta 2 has been designed to make everyday tasks easier, provide dynamic security protection and improve the development platform and manageability. End user improvements include a streamlined interface, tabbed browsing, printing advances, improved search functionality, instant feeds (RSS), dynamic security protection, and more.

The reality is a bit different though – there’s still something missing in the developement to make it “proper” browser which would be able to compete with Firefox or Opera. You must also validate your copy of Windows in order to install this application. You can download this beta also if you are the owner of different OS from Microsoft: Windows x64, Windows Server 2003 SP1 and Windows Server 2003 Itanium Edition.
