the movie “American Gangster” with Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe was about Frank Lucas. This flic is about a guy who was Lucas’ nemesis and was actually more powerful on the streets. not that that makes this necesarily good, but I’ll watch it when a good copy comes out.
This guy was Cuba Gooding Junior in the movie American Gangster. His heroin was less potent than Frank’s.
the heroin junior sold was frank’s he just cut it up to make more money out of it.
The guy (hardly) ran a few blocks in Harlem and all of a sudden he’s John Gotti? Leroy even adopted an Italian name-Nicky. A puppet that got no respect-shoulda called himself Leroy Dangerfield.

Nicky barnes used to man respect.. He did run corners, in fact more corners then Frank but Frank was the first cat to import and was supplyin Nicky.. Even you ask Frank, he admits that Nicky controlled more of the streets but Nicky also admitted that Franks ish was more fire then his.. At the end of it all they r both rats.. One dimed out the pigs while Nicky dimed out his crew..

There was an obvious difference in honor between the two men. One obviously cared more about himself and money, and not Frank. Frank didnt just run harlem he took care of it. And since when is rattin out pigs a bad thing? Its the dude who rats his crew who should go to sleep, anyone puttin a pig in his blanket gets props from me.
