Well, Mr and Mrs Smith are going to hit the BluRay soon, and group SiNNERS brings us the release in advance. Maybe you have noticed that back to Feb. this year, SiNNERS had released a HDDVD-source rip. But who cares? Since HDDVD format products are already out of date, there are someone who might want to pick up a BluRay rip instead. Besides, this is a Director Cut version. OK, now enjoy it.

PLOT: John and Jane Smith are a normal married couple, living a normal life in a normal suburb, working normal jobs…well, if you can call secretly being assassins “normal”. But neither Jane nor John knows about their spouse’s secret, until they are surprised to find each other as targets! But on their quest to kill each other, they learn a lot more about each other than they ever did in five (or six) years of marriage.

    Good action set pieces but seemed to end before the story really got going. Not saying that was a bad thing just that story threads involving who they worked for never really tied up.

    Definitely worth a watch to those who haven’t seen it.

    The uploader is a numb. There is no quality difference between HD-DVD and BlueRay whatsoever because the studio uses the same Master and almost the same bitrate.

    There is no reason for downloading. The Directors cut should be explained because the movie did run in many cinemas outside the USA as unrated………!

    Can someone please clarify something for me.

    My Blu-ray player is a PS3 - so if I download and burn a file like the above to a dual layer disk (in the 720p.BluRay.x264 format), can my PS3 play it?

    I sure as hell know my standard dvd player can’t, and trying to watch x.264 via usb on my ps3 doesn’t work either.

    If not, what do you need to do to get files like these working?

    Attention: The DIfference between Standardversion and Directors Cut of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”

    1. The Psych-talk Meeting: Mr. and Mrs. Smith are talking little more about their private life (30 seconds)

    2. The South America Meet Scene between Mr. and Mrs. Smith is approx. 20 Seconds longer…mostly Dance and flirt scenes

    3. Mr. and Mrs Smith are leaving the house to go to the work - on the door they need 13 seconds longer to get their stuff (Jacket, Keys et cetera)

    4. Some scenes are 1-2 seconds shorter - like car scenes and so on

    5. The f9irst Scene with Benjamin, where he is getting his Orders in Langley (CIA) are deleted (minus 55 seconds). The director want to delete this to give the enemy part no real face at the beginning

    6. Some scenes added where you see how the day goes by—mostly the sky went darker and so on.

    7. Kitchen Sece. Mr Smith brings a package of butter for Mrs. Smith. Additional 30 seconds (why is this scene so relevant?)

    8. Deleted scene: Mr Smith went out of the Kitchen and mix a martinie

    9. Some more scenes (2sek more in the curtain scene and on the dinner table)

    10. Additinal 37 seconds where Mr Smith washes the dishes

    11. deleted 8 seconds: Mrs. Smith is driving away with her car

    12. Deleted 32 Seconds: Mrs.Smith is coming home after the Domina-Sequence and want to change her clothe (deleted? WHy?)

    13. Additinal 12 seconds on the way to the neighbours Party

    14. Additinal 1min: Mr and Mrs Smith are going to bed after the party and talking stuff.

    15. Removed 10 seconds of several tiny scenes

    16. The desert assesment scene is 7 seconds longer

    17. After this scene again 10 second are deleted

    18. Additional 60 seconds - where Mr Smith is visting his friend at his mommys house.

    19. Additinal 10 seconds with neighbours

    20. Mr Smith enters the secret agency floor of his wife…..3 second deleted…some scenes re-arranged and additinal 20 second added

    21. Restaurant Scene is 8 Seconds Longer

    22. Fighting Scene between Mr. and Mrs. Smith is 9 sec longer…he strangles her (creepy or sexy?)

    23. Sex-scene on the table is 6 second longer (nothing special)

    24. Additional 24 Seconds of Sex Scene - he gets here from the back…really bad…nice….Puuuuhhh…..sexxxxyyy

    25. Removed 32 Second of Kill order scene with the friend of Mr. Smith…he gets the Kill order on his mobile (deleted)

    26. Additinol 1-2 Minutes in the action scenes but also 40 seconds of removed scenes

    27. In the Wall Mart Action scene…they added 47 second of brutal action….big guns…in the hand of Mrs. Smith

    28. Removed 10 Seconds of the End action…mostly scenes of the enemy Squad teams

    29. Removed Scene: Mrs. and Mr Smith are hiding in the shelter in the Wall mart and talking romantic (the scene was great why did they removed it?)

    20. Removed 8 Seconds of the slow motion tango-action-gunfight scene…they removed some scenes where the Smiths are killing some enemies(????)

    21. After alle enemies are dead the Smiths are holding 6 second longer still and prepared for any possible attack

    Mostly the Directros Cut is adding some scenes but removing also a lot of scenes. Hope my short description is helping. SOrry for my bad english

I’ve never really complained about this site, it’s free and I don’t come here much at all anymore. But seeing The.Mist.720p.BluRay.x264-SEPTiC posted here over a week late when you’ve already missed a lot of 720p releases in the last month makes me lose a little ‘faith’ in this site.

    Many Reasons:

    - Less Traffic for your RS premium account (mostly 50-60%)
    - 720p is watchable on older systems like 1,5-1,8 Ghz Notebook and pc systems
    - The real advantages of 1080 are fully viewable on very big screens (larger than 40 inch)
    - 720p Versions fit on 1 DVD-R Media

    Enough Reasons? If you want 1080 Releases - try Theparadox.com and HDTVworld.com….and others….!

    Seriously, as alan said, how is a Blu Ray rip better in terms of video quality than HD DVD when they’re in h.264/mkv format? Even with the original formats, most people say the video quality is pretty much the same on average (though one can be better than the other depending on the title, and even then, both win and lose on different titles).

    The bitrate is too low, IMO. When I rip my BDs and HD-DVDs, it’s never that low…although I’d rather have a better picture with 448 kbps AC3 than DTS 5.1…of course, that’s just me ;)

    As for the difference between HD-DVD and BD, they can look better or worse depending on the encode and transfer. True, they use the same master; so, the difference would be subtle if even noticeable, but I’ll have to check some of my BD/HD-DVD dups to say for sure. In other words, I wouldn’t worry about it…especially when you’re talking about a bitrate as low as ~6000kbps. The bitrates for the .EVO and .m2ts files are, on average, TWICE that high and frequently as many as 4x that high. You’ll see a bigger difference in quality based on the ripper than format ;)
