The MPAA suing the p2p networks and stuff is like the government suing the Earth for spinning it just can’t be stoppped. Stupid MPAA should just stop wasting time, their efforts are in vain. If they want money they should go out and get a REAL JOB instead of leeching off of movie companies.

I’m not defending MPAA members,the fact is that we live in a capitalist world where greed is the norm.Still,if you would invest your own money into a project,I’m sure you’d want it to be a commercial success and won’t be so happy for people to crack it and share it through the net.It is true that the way MPAA and other organizations fight the p2p world is quiet aggressive and they put a lot of effort in it.I really don’t like their methods.That’s because they are sustained by multinationals and they’ve never been nice guy’s and have a lot of power.But you can turn it every way you want,it is still theft.

Hello,This is my first post/reply on this site.:-)
You don’t have to fool yourself with file sharing.It is simple and plane theft.Don’t get me wrong,I love it and do it all the time,but it is stealing.There is no other business model that will be created after/because of file sharing.A company makes a product(any product) by investing time and money,a lot of money.The idea is to be able to sell their product to consumers through various channels and to 1st,get back their investment and 2nd to hopefully get profit from it.If this was not the point they would leave their money on the bank and just having rent on it.If everybody would download movies like we do,they will just cease to be produced.If they stop producing we stop downloading.Same goes for all other products we download and use.It is not,not stealing because they are huge companies and they have enough money so we can just take a little(I think they loose plenty) of their money.We live in a capitalist world and this are the rules.I would love to live in another world where money is of no importance and everybody just makes things for the benefit of human kind,unfortunately I think this is an utopy.I’m sorry if my English is not ideal but I’m from Belgium.

Its like a free form of advertisement!

Before metalica sued Napster, I had never heard of downloading MP3s much less Napster! I saw it on the news and went hmm and started downloading.

Interesting side effect these anti- campaigns have.

Check and see if your country has signed onto Interpol (I know the Chinese have) and if they have, then that is the way the MPAA can nail you even IF you are in another country. See Interpol requires you to observe the laws of other countries even if they are not laws in yours. That means that by signing this contract with Interpol, if another member country complains about something, then Interpol can step in and WHAM, you are now sleeping with one eye open to make sure that your gorilla of a cell mate does not brand you arse cheek with his mark. And this is what you have to look forword to for the next 5 to 10 years.

Dont think that just because you are in another country that they cant get you. Just look at the German and Russian sites that the MPAA has shut down via a complaint with Interpol.
