    does any of these programs search porn movies. Usually you have to inter the info yourself. Would be a lot earlier to type in the name and it will find and fill out info for you. Not all of them work for porn movies.

    sounds good BUT !!!!! theres a few things that spring to mind. like,,, all your movies (info) online, what movies you have at home,dvds,dvd rips,new movie not even out yet on dvd, all in one place,id names and password,maybe even your ip address so whats to stop someone checking them to see if you pirate copys/ downloaded them and takeing you to court for copyright etc etc, or is it just me worrying to much

    ant - no auto import
    movie label - no auto import
    meds movie manager - auto import, slow, ok layout
    extreme movie manager - could not import anything
    movie collector (collectoz.com) - no auto import, GREAT layout!
    dvd profiler - crap layout
    griffith - no auto import, layout is ok
    mediaman - no auto import, good layout
    dvdpedia - looks awesome but only for mac, no other details
    all my movies - auto import, very slow, layout is ok, froze up my PC

    @liquidmonkey

    You seem to know more about this type of app than anyone I have spoken to about this. So I have a question for you: Do you use some of these apps in combination? In other words, can you use one for auto import (meds movie manager or all my movies), then use that info in Movie Collector? Or is that not worth the effort?

    If not, do you just use Movie Collector?

    Thanks

    @18 - you don’t have to. If you click the ‘new’ button it will open up a window that asks you for the movie/tv show name. It will then search IMDB i believe and grab all the details for you. You can also enter everything manually if you want.

    Is it possible to separate tv shows from movies on this? Thats the only annoying thing about it so far!
