Moulin Rouge 2001 DVDRip AC3 XviD iNT-PFa

Our “lovely” PFa comes back with another Internal release that reached the public trackers. Musical “Moulin Rouge” that won 2 Oscars in 2002 stars Nicole Kidman and Evan McGregor. The film has a good 7.7 average with more than 60 thousand of votes on IMDB, but I still think I will pass it. When It came out I was thinking about watching it, but I think I’ll never do. For the people who have missed this film and love musical, this is a nice opportunity to watch it again, once PFa quality is always decent to watch, enjoy!

It’s Paris in 1899. Christian, a young English poet, comes to Paris to persue a pennyless career as a writer. However, he soon meets a group of Bohemians who tell him that he should write a musical show for them to be performed at the Moulin Rouge, the most famous underworld night club in Paris. The night they arrive at the Moulin Rouge, Christian meets Satine, the club’s star and a beautiful courtesan. He falls head-over-heels in love with her and though it takes a bit of convincing, she falls for him as well. Meanwhile, the club’s owner, Harold Zidler, invests in a wealthy Duke to help pay for the club, however, the duke will only pay if Satine is his. This crazy love triangle twists and turns. And little does Satine know that she has a deadly secret that could end everything.

Funny – this film was a far more original and better musical then Chicago ever was – and it was totally made by Australians, in Australia. After seeing it, I was amazed at just how talented Baz Lurman is. More proof that the amount of Aussies working in Hollywood is not enough. Chicago was a b-movie compared to this.

Baz Lurmans new epic musical – aptly titled “Australia” begins shooting this month in the Australian outback. It will star Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman and is about a wealthy English aristocrat who enherits a cattle ranch in Australia – during the late 1800’s.

    Should be awesome

Chicago was boring me to death. Moulin Rouge is far better.

‘MIKE’ – this is also one of those films i thought – should I? shan’t I? – musicals not really being my ’scene’ – but i did – and i can only say i was totally blown away by it. And to anybody else reading this – go try it – you will not regret it.

yeah I also found Chicago pretty boring, this one is slightly better, but still, musicals are nothing for me.

I am having new movie withdrawls. This movie wasn’t too awful, but I don’t think I could sit through it again. Can’t wait for the summer movies to hit the scene. Its been over a month since I’ve downloaded anything good to watch. Can’t wait for Spiderman 3 to come out…hopefully that will end the dry spell.

I’ve watched this film 34 times. It’s not boring at all. ;) All those music-quotes in this film are great. Love it.

Odd that Kidman thought her Oscar would be for this role but ended up getting it for The Hours. Actually, I think she deserved one for each film.
