The sceners are in a serious nuke mood these days: they just nuked this new release of Italian horror Mother Of Tears: The Third Mother (Terza Madre in original) for using “LiMiTED” in the release name, while it should be “STV”. Our Italian visitors will probably know the name of director Dario Argento, who filmed this movie as a third part of his trilogy. The audio in this R5 rip is English, so you don’t have to worry you wouldn’t understand.

An ancient urn is found in a cemetery outside Rome. Once opened, it triggers a series of violent incidents: robberies, rapes and murders increase dramatically, while several mysterious, evil-looking young women coming from all over the world are gathering in the city. All these events are caused by the return of Mater Lacrimarum (Moran Atias), the last of three powerful witches who have been spreading terror and death for centuries. Alone against an army of psychos and demons, Sarah Mandy (Asia Argento), an art student who seems to have supernatural abilities of her own, is the only person left to prevent the Mother of Tears from destroying Rome.

    A major disappointment and terrible end of the trilogy, after Suspira and Inferno. One of old maestro Argento’s worst movies, unfortunately.

    damn my pc crash bad today just got back on a temp basis.temp because the new partion wasn’t big enough to run windows in a stable state.My pc keep wanting to sleep every time i rebooted.
    What i cant understand is if i reformatted why was their enough space?Free broadband day back tommorrow then ill fix proper.
    This release i thought it was part of 3 in a series?

    The PB link #26 mentioned has good info on all three movies. I think I’ll give it a dl. Says they are all in english, not sure if it’s voice-over or hard subs.

    Comment 6 mentioned that this movie looks like it was made in ’80s. I think that was intentional. If you go into this movie thinking (or fooling yourself) that this movie was shot in 1987 rather than 2007, the movie works and is a pretty decent horror flick in that regard.

    I’m a huge Dario Argento fan and realize that he stopped making good movies long ago. This movie has lots of gore, tits, some quick lesbian action and one or two cheap scares, so it’s a watchable horror flick for many people right there. Argento forgot how to create tension because this movie has zero tension and suspense, which is what he used to be good at.

    Again, try to think of this film as being shot in 1987 and recently found and shown in theaters last year. You’ll appreciate it more that way.

    I’d say this PB torrent link given earlier is a nuke (can we nuke torrents?? lol) due to no seeds. Looks like we’re all dead in the water at 47%. I’m chucking the trilogy and dling parts 1 & 2 seperately.

    Demons 1-3 was written by Dario Argento, 1+2 directed by Lamberto Bava, old master Mario’s son, and Demons 3 directed by Michele Soavi.

    Loved it. Great film. This copy is in the wrong ratio though… Its the source.. its supposed to be in 2.35:1. And you can tell this copy isn’t pan and scan, simply cropped..
