Moscow Zero 2006 DVDRip XviD-CH W D F

Moscow Zero is the name of another new dvdrip released by Polish scene group CHWDF. The movie doesn’t have too much too offer, although it mixes various genres from thriller to horror. Expect some dialogs in Russian, as the whole story takes place in Moscow. Normal quality, little worse flick…

The story centers around a rescue team who descend beneath Moscow’s streets to find an anthropologist who has disappeared while researching the city’s underground homeless population. There, they discover first a society and a series of caverns beneath that which hold horrible secrets.

I watched it. Personally, I don’t like it. The movie is way too dark, even if I watched it in a dark room. The story is a little flatty.

An AWFUL film. The underground catacombs were the perfect setting for a horror film, but they forgot to add the horror.
All the ‘horrible secrets’ (demons) beneath the city are only ever referred to, never actually seen on screen. There is no suspense, gore or action in this film whatsoever.
Honestly, whoever greenlighted this project should be ass raped by invisible demons in a dark tunnel.

The “demons” are the spirits of the children and surviving nuns of the raid on the convent that died in the tunnels from starvation. Sort of a 6th Sense element here, as the “demons” find the living human explorers to be demons as well, and retaliate. I watched the mVs with subs, and it wasn’t half bad. I tried to watch it without them at first and I couldn’t understand half the movie, so I can see why you guys wouldn’t like it. It’s really not half bad, sort of like an Indiana Jones meets 6th Sense in the Moscow sewers without action. It’s weird, but not awful.
