Moon R5 XVID-PrisM

Just for a second there I thought it was the new Twilight movie;) . Here’s Prism with the movie Moon starring Sam Rockwell.

Sam Bell has a three year contract to work for Lunar Industries. For the contract’s entire duration, he is the sole employee based at their lunar station. His primary job responsibility is to harvest and periodically rocket back to Earth supplies of helium-3, the current clean and abundant fuel used on Earth. There is no direct communication link available between the lunar station and Earth, so his only direct real-time interaction is with GERTY, the intelligent computer whose function is to attend to his day to day needs. With such little human contact and all of it indirect, he feels that three years is far too long to be so isolated; he knows he is beginning to hallucinate as the end of his three years approaches. All he wants is to return to Earth to be with his wife Tess and their infant daughter Eve, who was born just prior to his leaving for this job. With two weeks to go, he gets into an accident at one of the mechanical harvesters and is rendered unconscious.

    October 23rd, 2009 | 05:24

    @Daniel Great thanx!

    MKVMERGE is a great matroska handling program which let you do whatever you whant actually with your mkv.files. For instance if you do have extra audiofiles you want to put into a matroska movie,just open mkvmerge, open new file in INPUT, chose the movie you want to fix, click add in input once again and chose the two audiofiles. I dont think you need to do anything with ATTACHMENTS. Then click START MUXING. Be sure to create a new map for the file in OUTPUT FILENAME before you start muxing. And voila, you have a new mkv.file with extra audiofiles. Open the movie in vlc and click sound, then soundfile and there you have the files.

    Yes it is crap audio, stinking pile of poo audio. And that´s why I´m telling you, remove the audio files with mkvmerge and replace with the rapidshare audio file. It´s not THE best sound EVER but it´s 1000% better then the original sound file, and you can actually watch the movie without feeling the need to tossing out the speakers through the window.

    Well I get your problem. If there are audio sync problems they are easy to fix with vlc player. Just use the hotkeys:the default hot keys are g and f (with no modifier) to speed up and slow down the audio.

    If there are quality issues, thats a whole other ballgame I´m afraid. There are usually no sites providing ONLY seperate audiofiles. They are most of the time imbeded in the matroska container. I dont think you can download the files seperatly, you have to download the whole shabang and then “pull out” the audiofile. But then we come back to your original problem, bad speed. And if you have to download a new movie with better audio files, that movie is probably better in all around quality anyway so then you just dump the old one. I´m afraid I´m out of options and is starting to talk out of my ass. Maybe someone else can help? Sorry.

    It really doesn’t matter with this release. Even if you can downmix the audio channels, the actual sound level fluctuates. I got an Xvid copy that had been downmixed to 2 channels, then I even downmixed it to MONO, and the audio still jumps from loud to soft every so often.

    It’s watchable; it helps a LITTLE if you normalize the volume with your media player…KMPlayer has this option (I’m sure VLC does too, but KMPlayer is my favorite player). If your bandwidth is really limited, I’d wait one more day to see if a new rip is released, otherwise like I said, this version is watchable; the sound is just kinda annoying, but you can still understand everything.

    If you use Jet Audio you can turn on “Dynamic Range Control” & “Dynamic Limiter”, the two made my audio 80% better.. you only notice blips/spikes/dips in the audio during the most extreme of the errors. Great movie by the way …

    A/7 With audio levelers on..(I’d give it a 3 without them)
    V/9 Fantastic for an R5

    M/9 The movie I would give and 90% overall, might like it a little more after a second watch :) , Jet Audio’s volume levelers saved the day!.
