Monsters Inc 2001 720p BluRay x264-SiNNERS

SiNNERS releases a pretty good animation Monsters Inc. I had watched this a few years back and enjoyed it. I’m sure many kids will love it. Monsters, Inc. is a 2001 computer animated comedy film and the fourth feature-length film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The film was released to theaters by Walt Disney Pictures.

James P. Sullivan and his best friend Mike Wazowski work together at Monsters, Incorporated, a mega-company that delivers energy to Monstropolis, the place where they live. Mike and James are the best at what they do: scaring human childs so they can provide them enough screams to produce energy. But just when everything looked perfect, something happens and James releases someone who threatens to destroy not just the company but the whole Monstropolis itself! Will Mike and James be able to save the city by stoping the menace and put it back where it belongs? Or will Monsters, Incorporated come to an end and the days of scaring children be over?

    4.42GB for a 720p CGI Film!?

That can't be right can it? They are usually 2.2GB

1080 CGI Films normally just fit on a DVD5!?

Stop wining about the size of the movie! If you don't want high quality, watch a standard DVD-rip

And please stop writing sentences such as:
SiNNERS releases a pretty good animation Monsters Inc.

It's supposed to be either: a pretty good move called Monsters Inc.
    OR
the pretty good move Monsters Inc.
    or
Monsters Inc, a pretty good movie, was released…

Yeah I'm complaing a lot, but it's mostly because it's such a common error on this site.

I wasn't wining, I just thought it was odd that's all.

Regardless of size, its still a pretty good animation Monsters Inc.

@8 Martin, who gives a hoot about grammer, this ain't no English language blog.

@2 Seb, I agree, I don't think the CGI benefits from the extra bitrate, not at 720p.

Scene Rules actually dictate that animated stuff should be 2.2Gb or there abouts.

I didn't actually know this was coming to BluRay, so I think I will pick up the 1080p which will probably make me buy the disc!

I wish that 720p releases would use 768Kbps for DTS rather than 1.5mbps.

to me, this one is perfect. I got Monsters.Inc.2001.720p.HDTV.DTS-ES.x264-ESiR a while back, there's a ton of subsitles and the quality is very good, BUT, there is a forced subtitle that appear 3 times in the entire movie.

    I WANT THE INCREDIBLES!

This was a great thing to wake up to see though, i love these HD, pixar, cgi movies.

But if anyone has a megashares link to The Incredibles i'd be thankful. I recent got the BD rip and it looks much better than the dvd rip but i want the real thing, at least 720p

To the person who wants the movie smaller (i know you dont really care and just expected it to be smaller but still) You could use PS3Video9 to convert it to an HD MP4 and retain most of the quality while reducing the file size to around 2-3Gbs.

please get new editors!! implying that this is only great for kids…. and yet he probably loves films like twilight and transformers

@25 – That yet another conversion resulting in a degradation. However, I think the original point was that the scene has rules and the rules strike a good balance between file sizes and rip quality.

@26 – Here, here. Pixar are movies are not just for kids. Anyone who thinks they are for kids only simply doesn't get these movies.

ac3 filters shows no output at all, anyone else got this problem too ?

I think at 2.2GB and with a DTS track the video bitrate would suffer too much therefore 3.5gb is probably for the best.

I personally don't mind the extra size and hope the future HDrip of Coraline is the same size (4.37gb with DTS) as this release is.
