I posted the DVDRip of the movie a while back, now here is the 720p BluRay rip of it. Mongol is a 2007 semi-historical film directed by Sergei Bodrov about the young Genghis Khan. It is planned to be the first in a trilogy about Temüjin’s (Genghis Khan’s) life.

Mongol is made by an award-winning Russian filmmaker Sergei Bodrov (Prisoner of the Mountains). Here Sergei illuminates the life and legend of Genghis Khan in this stunning historical epic. Based on leading scholarly accounts and written by Bodrov and Arif Aliyev, Mongol delves into the dramatic and harrowing early years of the ruler who was born as Temudgin in 1162. As it follows Temudgin from his perilous childhood to the battle that sealed his destiny, the film paints a multidimensional portrait of the future conqueror, revealing him not as the evil brute of hoary stereotype, but as an inspiring, fearless and visionary leader. Mongol shows us the making of an extraordinary man, and the foundation on which so much of his greatness rested: his relationship with his wife, Borte, his lifelong love and most trusted advisor.

    Will there ever be an english voiced version of this movie? For some movies it makes absolutel sense not to translate them in other languages, just like “Evita”, because it’s a musical. But I see no sense here. :(

    This may seem like a dumb question, but if I downloaded this…what do I burn it to? I don’t have a Bluray burner, do I do burn it to a DVD? Or is a DVD too small?

    You can burn it on any form of media. A dual-layer DVD would work or just play it from your PC. You could also try a program that would split the file for better use.. maybe Nero( i know let the hatin’ start)

    People rather WATCH a great movie for what’s it made for. If you want to read, why not grab a book. Would you pay money to go to the theaters and READ the whole movie?

    Forgive my appalling maths, but I’ve checked the size of your first part, and it’s coming in at 193Mb. If you’ve got 35 parts @ roughly that size aint 4.37, it’s more like 6.7 give or take a few for your last part. Is there something special about your release?

    Indeed. Dubbing this would risk ruining the film. Reading subtitles while catching everything that is happening onscreen is fairly simple. If you are physically or mentally unable to do this, you are the problem, not the film. You should have your doctor look in to that for you.
