Modern Marvels S15E01 DSR XviD-W4F

The amazing 15 seasons of this non-fiction show start again with its first episode of the season, thanks to W4F. Everything you wanted to know about milk and dairy, in the program it covers it all. Oh yeah, before you watch the show make sure to visit notmilk.com.

Got milk? Billions of pounds of milk are consumed worldwide on a daily basis. Milk is the basis for its own food group, and has been around since the dawn of mammals. Visit a farm with a milking parlor that looks more like a cow merry-go-round. Learn what pasteurization is really all about, and even milk a yak. Find out what those active cultures in yogurt are and discover if milk truly makes the body good. Wait until you discover just how many types of cows there truly are.

I checked out notmilk.com, but I all I could find were a bunch of links to whacko theories that seem to try and disparage milk and to dissuade people from drinking it.

Maybe I am missing it, but what were we supposed to get from that site?

Being a proud carnivore i watch all this kind of stuff on principle, including those videos of animals that are TRULY being abused. Seeing as i eat meat and have no intention of stopping, the least i can do is being fully aware of what that choice includes.

On a sidenote the notmilk page seems to point out that mostly Caucasians drink milk. I dont know if that’s so odd really. I kind think it’s connected to the cold enviroment most Caucasians come from originally. If you live where it is cold you need more fat, and in the past, short of killing animals the best way of getting fat was through milk.
