Add to that the fact that your average black woman is not as likely to fit the profile for this type of beauty pageant. That's not meant as a racial jab, you just have to look at the type of contestants that fit the profile for this type of event, and you'll realize that it will naturally fit a higher percentage of caucasian, asian, and hispanic vs. black. There are plenty of black women that are gorgeous but they may not be a fit for a traditional beauty pageant like this. How the TX girl managed to win amazes me though, surely the state of Texas has hundreds of more attractive contestants of every race than the woman they chose, let alone in the entire U.S. @67, actually there were at least 4 Black women, which is 8%, not much lower than the U.S. demographics.
