Miss Rap Supreme S01E01 PROPER DSR XviD-OMiCRON

Introducing miss crap supreme, uh, I mean rap supreme. A new VH1 reality series (warning, VH1 trash) where ten aspiring female rappers compete for a overpriced 100000 dollar prize. The PROPER reason is about the most funny I have ever seen. Failure/Crackhead group JiGgAbOo’s release that OMiCRON propered was :nuked: for `everything’: cbr audio, bad aspect ratio, bad resolution, bad filesize and even nuked for containing the AIDS virus. Gee, I can’t wait to read all the funny comments.

    Believe it or not, I know somebody who likes this show… my girlfriend. I watched “the next (White) Rapper Show”, which is pretty much the same thing, but not sexist. MC Serch hosted that, and hosts this. Suppose I’ll take a look at it. And save all your flames, you’ll just be wearing out your keyboard.

    @10: agreed.
    @9: Rap is the most advanced format of music that we have today. Mainstream rap is like what “young country” is to country music.

  14. Fools
    April 16th, 2008 | 06:55

    Mr. X posted it because its a scene release, and its also S01E01, so that SOME TINY fools might like it as its a new show, (i agree its trash tho lol), but its still a release, so he posted it.

    so leave the poor guy alone, and whats wrong with posting his opinion, dont WE post our opinions as well?

    Turn this crap off and stop paying for TV programming maybe then they’ll give us something worth worth watching. But what greedy TV exec can pass up free actors and cheap half-wit writers while cashing in on advertising. SHAME!

    @16 F’em

    Nice try, but the collective IQ has gone to hell. The biggest talent now is getting the biggest watch, the biggest SUV, the biggest house, and the scariest Ho. That makes the star, and then we watch them implode. We as mankind are doomed…

    April 16th, 2008 | 07:37

    Why are you all trashing rap? Why don’t you look at where rap came from, to where is today. It’s a music form that knows no bounds. It’s continually growing…

    That is what expression is all about, isn’t it?

  19. braddockboy
    April 16th, 2008 | 08:08

    rap is whatever youu make of it, if u dont get or see what the rap is about(Guns, champagne, big booty hoes, & escalades) then u are not going to understand why its being said or like it and rap goes hand and hand with your life everyday even if u dont realize it

    Mr X, thanks for your entertaining reviews – it’s what sets this site out from the ‘competition’. If people won’t accept the facts, then perhaps they should investigate having a sense of humour transplant ?

  23. BeeGee
    April 16th, 2008 | 09:15

    Please. This isn’t rap music, and anybody who thinks this represents rap music or even begins to, is an idiot. All these shows are nothing but clones that Eminem created when he starred in 8-mile. True rap music isn’t dead, isn’t even endangered. But it sure isn’t flourishing like a decade ago. Nowadays, people are fooled into thinking trash like Soulja Boy is actually rap music. Or any of that Lil Jon crap. These rap “reality” shows are nothing more than a mockery. Have fun with it if you want, but do not take it seriously.

    April 16th, 2008 | 09:39

    @23

    So true. This show is a complete detriment to rap and hip hop. I bet less than half the people that listen to Soulja Boy would be able to name one Ice Cube song or recognise one Nas lyric. Hip hop is dead because no matter how many BRILLIANT Wu Tang albums get released, there are 100 50 Cent, Soulja Boy and Chris Brown albums to replace them. Hip hop is dead but it still has the potential to be saved

    ‘brilliant wu-tang albums’??? 10 years ago maybe..

    C-Rayz Walz is the saviour of rap.

    Thanks for this anyway, i’m gonna watch it for a laugh.

    im surprised this isnt on BET since that network went down the drain….. man everything was better in the 90’s…

    but yea this is trash but this isn’t a representation of rap music just desperate people looking for a spotlight and after this they still won’t be anywhere… but ah well i basically am starting to hate all types of music anyway i am wating for andre benjamin to create another genre

    April 16th, 2008 | 11:09

    hahaha oh yeah i was thinking about raekwon’s cuban lynx. that and my anticipation for Nas’ new album has me firmly believing that controversy and a re-awakening is approaching fast…

    Here you go: Rap is just poetry with horrific background noises. Thats it. I’d rather listen to a cat in heat. Try metal. I think you’d enjoy it.

  33. Hostspace Fillah
    April 16th, 2008 | 11:23

    @32 – controversy through an album name = patheticly veiled attempt at covering the fact your album is most likely wack. imo.

    I’ve heard rap since it first started becoming popular years ago. It’s about as appealing to me as nails on a chalkboard is to most people. It actually makes me feel angry and want to hit someone/something. Rappers look ridiculous with tons of over-sized gold chains around their neck, waving their hands around like they’re having convulsions. I’ve been know to turn off movies that have more than a few seconds of rap in them.

  37. Dawg
    April 16th, 2008 | 12:04

    I’m just glad I like all forms of music…I go from rap to rock to classical, Soul, pop, alternative, jazz, blues, in a Hollywood minute. Either way, a message of tolerance and finding the good in everything is the message I am trying to convey. Not really nice to diss rap for its culture when each genre has its own idiosyncrasies, country likes their cowboy hats, boots, and ball crusher jeans..who cares…

  38. Phesto
    April 16th, 2008 | 12:55

    Yo guys need to realize that this is an EGO Trip production, the guys who created the illest magazine in the 90s. Why are you all talking such smack when you haven’t even watched the show, this show is poking fun at all that is wrong with hip-hop today. Watch it before opening your mouths.

  39. hahahaha
    April 16th, 2008 | 13:37

    this show sucks and its just pt 2 of the white rapper show which also was trash imo obviously.MC Search the host is just again exploiting rap culture and perpetuating more black stereotypes…SHAME ON HIM.I do agree though rap sucks commercially there are a few indy rap things i do enjoy that are much more progressive and C Rayz wallz the fake wu tang member is NOT the savior of rap.He couldn’t even save his record deal when he got dropped.
    LOL

    what a waste of bandwidth
    just what we need
    another boatload of idiots landed
    on the screen,
    the machine that cashes in on dreams,
    isolates intellect
    then leaves creativity stranded.
