Miss Potter DVDRip XviD-PosTX

Finally again a decent new DVDRiP. I know PosTX very good for bringing Asian movies to the scene and I thank them a lot, I enjoy watching them lately, suggest you find and watch the comedy “200 Pounds Beauty”. Renée Zellweger & Ewan McGregor in the main role so I think it will be a good acting movie, the 2 actors have played in very good movies the past years. The samples look nice, so enjoy!

Beatrix Potter has delighted generations of children with her books. But she kept her own private life locked carefully away. Oscar-winning star Renée Zellweger is now bringing her secret story to the screen in “Miss Potter,” the first film directed by Chris Noonan since his charming 1995 movie, “Babe.” It is set in the high summer days of late Victorian and Edwardian England, during which Beatrix develops her natural skills as artist and story-teller. When she finally publishes her debut book, “The Tale of Peter Rabbit,” she becomes a writing celebrity. It also leads to courtship and her first love with publisher Norman Warne, played by Ewan McGregor. Their relationship and his marriage proposal in July, 1905, was to change Beatrix’s life for ever.

It was a love which she could not announce – or even talk about. In high-society London, her parents had insisted she keep it from friends and neighbours. They considered her proposed wedding a mismatch. Warne, they said, was from ‘trade’ and demanded that she carefully reconsider their life together. Beatrix allowed herself to be persuaded to leave her fiancé and London. It was supposed to be a time for reflection and calm. But, instead, she faced tragedy and loneliness and returned, with a different outlook. She became a woman of strong views and independence. She also built up a farming dynasty in the Lake District – a dynasty over which she took charge long after her writing career virtually ended in 1913. It established her as a woman ahead of her time. Despite becoming the world’s most successful children’s writer and a wealthy landowner and prize-winning farmer, she never forgot her first love.

can anybody tell me how to make subtitles in VLC larger? cause they appear very small

  2. April 9th, 2007 | 11:06

I love the soft of VideoLAN.org but I had some problems in the past with subs and VLC, so eversince Ive been hooked to the XP Codec Pack which comes with the Mediaplayer Classic (also seperately availlable). It’s a real charm, lightweight, stable, will play anything and you can configure the output (fontstyle, colors, size) yourself! Its great stuff, you should give it a try. About the release, I think Im gonna give it a try, for my mom lol.

Just use Zoom Player with Direct VobSub, AC3Filter and ffdshow. You won’t find that much features and usability at the same time anywhere else.

Mike, MediaPlayer Classic has its own site as well, http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ I hope youll be finding some more info and answers there ;)

Hurm, so I found out that for additional support the codec pack needs to be installed, so with the pack (xpcodecpack, incl MPC) youll be fine with 5.1 since DirectShow with AC3-filters are installed then. It will allow you to listen multi channel audio :D Actually the whole pack makes sure youre machine can do it all.

Just try Bsplayer and you won’t need anything else ever again, this very simple software allows you to use and define the subtitles like you want, and recognizes ffdshow and ac3! and you can set both ffdshown and ac3 thru bsplayer wiil playing the movie.
