Mirrors Edge Update 1.01-RELOADED

RELOADED just released the latest update of Mirrors Edge. The 1.01 patch addresses a possible PhysX lockup issue.

Many users reported potential freezing issue on their machines when Physx is enabled. To address that problem EA released Mirror’s Edge patch 1.01. This Mirror’s Edge update is for all versions of the game including US, UK, German etc except for the Japanese and the Korean version. Mirror’s Edge Patch for Japanese and Korean versions will be made available shortly. For now you can get update for all other versions of the game. (Source)

  
1. Install 1.01 patch.
2. Copy crack to binaries directory inside the installed gamedir.

    Crack works for me. Did a clean install of the game. Applied patch 1.01. Applied crack. So far so good.

    Apparently the 1.01 patch replaces the .exe file only, therefore the reloaded 1.01 crack is also the 1.01 patch. Official patch should not be needed. Can anyone confirm?

    I'm on the chapter called "HEAT," everything runs fine, until about 30 seconds into the mission, you start moving at an excruciatingly slow speed. I thought it might have something to do with the story… but theres no explanation, and its impossible to continue with the game… anyone else have this problem?

    Also, I'll double confirm that this archive is the only patch you need, no need to download an official one…

    ok so you can't update cause your using the cracked exe, well when you install the game via the iso, it has the original exe and you than replace the exe with the cracked .exe ( to be able to play), well if u didn't make a backup of the orginal .exe , simple uninstall/reinstall apply update and crack with the new cracked .exe " have a nice day "

    There is no need to clean install and use an official patch, just download this archive and copy the .exe over the one from the ISO. Its that simple. Just think of it as a newer, better cracked exe.

    If you have Kaspersky installed and have Mirror's Edge crashing at splash screen you have to uninstall Kaspersky. Not just disable it or shut it down but uninstall it completely. This is not the first time that Reloaded and Kaspersky have an issue, remember StalkerCS 1.5.03?

    Well I am not having those problems you guys are having, I am running this game on a 9800gtx+ and it runs beautiful.

    The problem I am having is on some mission? Idk what one but when you get to the scaffolding after the guy tells you to lose the cops in it, I run over to the second set while the helicopter is shooting, as soon as I get up the first step my game freezes and I have to alt-crtl-del to get out of the game. I have installed the patch, The phys-x patch and the new crackfix.

    Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

    I get that "Mirrorsedge.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" when attempting to run this game, updated & with a new crack. I also disables PhysX but that didn't help either…

    I had crashes after boot screen and game loading. never got the game up proper, just crashed after u saw that footprint then the logos.

    i fixed it by browsing to this file in my docs, and editing it.

    C:\Documents and Settings\**(user name)*****\My Documents\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\Config\TdEngine.ini
    open TdEngine.ini file with notepad or a text editor, and do a find for this line of text
    MaxMultisamples=2
    change the number from 2 to 1, so it now reads
    MaxMultisamples=1
    save the TdEngine.ini file, and try running the game now.

    This worked fine for me, on Windows XP SP2, geforce7050 card. nvidia 181.20 drivers

    For me this crack crashes at the slash screen (before the videos/ea logo).
    -Did someone manage to get this crack to work on win xp 64bit?
    -Can someone who got this crack to work (on any os) tell me his CPU family ID, model and stepping ID?

    For ppl with asm knoledge:
    cause of crash: reading address 0 at address 00ABC866.
    reloaded let lots of mov eax,1/cpuid in the 00Axxxxx range (boo), which I believe to be the problem. Unfortunately I don't know the cracker's cpuid.

    for those who are having a crash during the splash screen, just change the compability mode of the mirror's edge exe by right clicking (ie change to windows xp sp2) ..usually occur to vista users..me myself a vista ultimate 64 bit Sp1 user…dont complain about this crack is not working…

    i got zotac gefore gtx260 with 1280×1240 + max setting with average of 60fps , i got no problem and no more physX lockup with the current update…if i turn the physX off i will get low fps..finished the game tho~~

    ah one more thing if u download this crack, u just have to replace the old exe with the latest crack..no need to apply the official update (replacing exe only) since reloaded 1.0.1 crack already the latest…

    still doesn't work after re installation, patching and applying the 1.01 crack.

    but still it works on 1.00 crack but after chapter 3 on the drm walk (unplayable)

    8500 gt vga (most errors came from 8XXX series and below basing from the forums i've read)
    physx is always disabled (latest physx got a double crash)
    xp sp3
    178.24 (181.22 got a black screen after windows logo)

    or is it just my computer?

    @53 Err i downloaded your files but there is no iso.. no crack.. no keygen? like you just zipped your installed mirrors edge folder and called it a working game. Have you left something out?

    @58 Gniarf: crash on splash screen after applying crack, tried the 4 options on compatible mode. still the same.

    tried the no intro fix, still the same.

    do you have any suggestions for me to try?

    Same crashing just after the splash screen.

    Solutions i have tested but didn’t worked :

    1 – Installing last patch 1.01, last crack
    2 – Installing NoIntro from Gamecopyworld
    3 – Looking for TdEngine in the game folders (absent)
    4 – Turning on compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 (i am on vista)

    Still does not work !

    I'm not sure if this is the same error everyone else is getting, but when I try to launch, I just get this error message:
    "Failed to find default engine .ini file to retrieve My Documents subdirectory to use. Force quitting."

    Hooray for broken english – how do I fix this? it seems like I just need to modify an INI file or copy files over, but i'm not sure.

    @59 Maive:No, not really…crack it yourself, get in touche with reloaded, buy the game, blah blah blah…
    I'd really love to know what CPU you have (family,model,stepping,revision,… you can use cpu-z to view those)

    @61 Sirwootalot: At first I tought it wasn't english, but if you you at it like: Failed to [find default engine .ini file in order to retrieve My Documents subdirectory to use].Thus force quitting. It makes some sense.
    I suggest you look for solutions involving TdEngine.ini, as phadeb said.

    Please help.

    I downloaded the game, the ver. 1.01 patch, and the new crack (for patch 1.01).

    The game installed fine.
    I updated it to version 1.01.
    I copied the (new) crack and overwrote the original .exe in the Binaries folder.

    The problem I'm having is I can't run the game. I'm pretty sure I meet at least the minimum system requirements. When I try to run the game, I can't even get to the game's Main Menu (nor do I see any splash screen) because as the game attempts to load up, "MirrorsEdge.exe (apparently) encountered a problem and needs to close."

    Can anyone please help me out on this? I've already googled my problem and tried all the suggestions I've found.

    List of things I've tried but still didn't fix the problem:
    - Updated my videocard drivers (rebooted my computer afterwards)
    - Installed the latest .Net framework (also rebooted my computer after)
    - Deleted the "OpenAl32.dll" located in the game's installation folder.
    - Modified some entries in "TdEngine.ini" (one after another) that was suggested by some users online

    None of them worked.

    System Specs:
    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz
    Win XP SP2
    2 GB RAM
    Radeon HD 3450
    More than enough disk space

    I have the same issue with never getting past the splash screen. This is both with the 1.0 crackfix and the 1.01 crack but not with the original 1.0 crack which is supposed to have issues at level 3.

    So what did reloaded do diffrent after the first flawed crack that still is the only one who let me start the game?

    I suggest the following things:
    Install WindowsXP SP3 no SP2!
    Latest directX 9 or 10
    Microsoft.Net framework 3.5
    Newest drivers for the graphic card (NVIDIA especially)

    AND for VISTA users- try to run in other compatibility modes if u get the splash screen error

    Also install the game, the patch 1.01 and the crack, (don put just the crack)but after completing the above requirements. Sorry for bad English.

    the game works flawlessly with the new crack. Since the patch only modifies the exe. i didnt install the patch, straightaway just replaced the updated exe from rldd.

    turned on physx and played for about 1.5 hrs so far without a single crash or freeze…

    runnin vista sp1

    crack works!
